Life is great because I went on a hike with friends yesterday, got to meet new people, had loads of fun, and most of all walked much more than I've done during all of summer combined. My legs ache now...

Oh! 'Moine, you might like this one:
Life is great because I'm learning Italian!!! I'm so happy with the class and so far I'm getting an A. I'll be having conversations in no time. Or... at least I hope so.

Life is great because there are lots of big changes about to happen at work. They'll end up with me under an awful lot more stress, but it will also be far more satisfying for me. ;D

Life is great now because I just finished a midterm exam (15 pages on moral epistemology and how we can be justified in knowing ethical propositions ) and now things are relatively back to normal. That, and I get to go shopping for my halloween costume today. ;D

ZOMG for real Will?! We should converse in Italian one of these days just for the pure fun of it. If you ever need any kind of help whatsoever Will, you're more than welcome to send me a PM. YAY! Thanks!
Wow. 15 pages?! That's... insane. I hope you have fun shopping, Neko. What are you going to be?
Life is great right now because I just got the movie Love Actually delivered to me. I'm so excited! …Also because I only have one class today and it’s Italian. Fun Fun.

Love Actually is such an awesome movie! Oh man... if I tried to list the good parts I'd go on for a week, but I have to say that the parts with the novelist and the Portuguese woman were my favourite.
Life is great right now because my brother, who grew up to be a really awesome person (he was 8 when I left home and was 19 before I spent any time with him again), is playing with my cat on the floor of my bookshop while my friend Sara reads a book about the Flying Spaghetti Monster and my husband pores over some esoteric points of mathematics. I love the way my shop has turned into the hangout spot for so many different people, and that we all end up sharing food and saying really weird things and laughing at stuff together.

Life is great because my juice box is completely frozen. Plus the outside is covered in ice shavings. I guess I shouldn't have left it in the freezer for so long.... now I just have to wait for the juice to thaw before I can drink it.
Other than that things are fine. I have to catch up on my reading but I have most of tomorrow to do that. Let me think... life is great because my best friend and I talked on the phone for a very long time over the weekend. And as it'll be Thanksgiving soon. I love Thanksgiving. I can eat all the pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes I want. Plus my mom lets me help with the turkey.

My friends and I are going to dress up and be the characters from the video game Street Fighter. Hahahaha. We are totally going old school because we all played the game as kids. ;D We went shopping today and it is going to be so cool, I'm so excited for it. But we haven't found anyone willing to don a bright orange wig and paint themselves green...
I love the fact that there is a holiday in the US devoted to eating until you are ridiculously full. And I found out that I really like pumpkin-flavored things, like pie and scones and donuts and coffee and whatnot. It's so tasty. I wish we had so much pumpkin where I'm from.

I haven't put effort into a Halloween costume in years. I have a cool Viking hat, but its lost in my garage at home somewhere. I completely forgot to look for it last time I was home.
I love pumpkin flavored food. Pumpkin pie rocks. Marie Calendars makes the best pumpkin pie in the world. It's a fact, there's no doubt about it. I remember I had never tried pumpkin flavored coffee until last year. Starbucks makes a pretty good pumpkin latte. It's a bit too sweet in my opinion, but it's yummy. Drinking seasonal drinks is so nice.

Oooh, yeah I like the starbucks pumpkin spice coffee. I don't usually drink coffee so the sweetness is kind of nice. Plus the people at my starbucks put lashings of cream and cinnamon/nutmeg/something on top and it is DELICIOUS.
I also had a pumpkin icecream cake which was fabbo. It's pumpkin flavored icecream on a chocolate cookie base. I got it at BD's (the mongolian BBQ place if you have tnose) and it's really, really good.
Life is great today because I just taught and we're talking about discrimination against ugly people, which I find really interesting and fun to talk about. ;D

Damn you people! Now I want something with pumpkin in it.
Life is great because today is the first day of my long weekend! ;D
It's probably going to be my last long weekend until well after New Years Eve, so I'm going to milk it for all it's worth. I started it with a little retail therapy (ie. getting a shower caddy because we really, really needed one )

Life is great because my car is so clean and shiny. Life is great because I went to Starbucks.
But really life is great because the St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series and David Eckstein is the MVP. ;D Yeah life is great and I'm happy and not at all sleepy.

Hahaha, I'm so glad Detroit didn't win...
Today is Guy Fawkes Day, which means that my housemates and I are going to invest in a little fireworks show later tonight. ;D
