I share my birthday with Jack Nicholson. There were some 3 others, which I've never heard of.
Better than my brother at least. He shares his with Saddam Hussein.

Um, something you probably don't want to know about me: My thesis is due in 9 days and I am pulling out my hair in frustration!

In a word (or two)- time travel. Basically, it's about how it is possible and how to overcome things like the grandfather paradox and the strings of coincidences and stuff like that. I'm really stressed because my ideas are just growing like a virus and I can't contain them to 10,000 words.

Wow. You're having trouble staying within the 10,000 word range? And just curious cause I don't know much about this so please explain...aren't you studying law? What does law have to do with time travel? Or can your thesis be about anything? Or did someone ask you to write about time travel?

Time travel seems like a very interesting topic though.
I think it would have to do with it because it would be like philosophy and that is important when studying law.
Am I anywhere near the mark?

Yeah, Herm's pretty close. Rain, at uni I did a double degree, so I did Law (which I've graduated from now ) and Arts (which is like, humanities subjects- history, politics, philosophy etc. etc.). So the time travel bit is actually from philosophy. So yeah. I mean, when I hand in the final draft in October, I'll put a copy of it up in F&B in my textbook if anyone is interested, although I think it would probably be very boring and argumentative for most...

Sure thing, Li. I mean, by the time you're done with it in October, you'll be regretting what you said in here! Nah, it's not THAT bad, I think. But there are lots of very interesting issues out there...

lol Ko i will be reading it. I love time and light and all that fun stuff. I always wanted there to be a physics independent study so that i could write an essay.

There's not that much physics involved in it. I had to look at relativity, heisenberg's principle, and things like tachyons/backwards-in-time positrons, but most of it is from a purely philosophical point of view because well, frankly, I'm no science brain.
