Oh my god. You have to see this! This site already has more than a million hits and it was talked about on the news and in the papers here... and it's been on CNN and VH1. For some reason it's scarily hypnotising... (make sure your sound is up)

That got on the news there too? Wow... I read an article about that kid on AOL News and then I heard him mentioned on campus. This was the first time I saw the video clip, though, so thanks for the link.
The article basically said that his name is Gary Brolsma and he's from New Jersey. His friend send him this Romanian pop song (which the Belgian and Dutch girls in my suite like and say was insanely popular in Europe last summer, but the Romanian girl says, "You don't understand... the lyrics are terrible...") So he just did that improv the first time he heard it and innocently put it up on the internet. But then some big movie clip website picked it up and everyone knew about it, so the kid was on Good Morning America and stuff. But then he got really embarassed and is now holed up in his room. Erh, and yeah... that's the jist of the story.
Though, even if I did something embarassing, if I did it well I think I'd enjoy the fame while it lasted, you know? I don't really want to be famous, but if I had the oppurtunity to be on tv shows and in newspapers for a few weeks, why waste it? Everyone has seen the clip anyway, so I don't see the point of his hiding.

Yeah. The story about this website was like on the news on 3 channels and it made it into newspapers as like the "odd spot" or something.
I actually went to his website (if you google "Numa Numa" then it's the first one that comes up) and he does flash cartoons as well, but everyone who's posted comments about them are like, "this is crap Numa Numa was so much better" and stuff like that, which is fair enough if that's what the public wants to see. But yeah, I agree. I don't know if I'd feel embarassed about it, because he's entertained millions of people worldwide and stuff, so I'd bask in the fame while it lasted.

I saw it this very morning although my brother happened to watch it last Thursday on an Italian channel. Yup, the song was a really big hit last summer. I used to be switching channels and it was the no.1 on Top of the Pops for about 10 weeks in a row for sure. And my brother's addicted to it, so I got to hear it even more. Although we never learned what the lyrics really say.
I think this morning there was written that it has over 2 million views so far. Not exactly sure though.

Have you guys heard of the new version of those lovely Looney Tunes? I don't think they're lovely any longer.
Edit: The pic didn't seem to be working but the one in this link does: Lunatics

Ew! Are you serious, Hermy? They look like pokemon gone wrong! And I can't tell who the character at the top is supposed to be, or the one in the bottom right corner.

I thought the one on top was Taz and the one at the bottom right corner was Lola Bunny. Talk about a change.
The blue one's supposed to be Roadrunner, and I think the one on the opposite side is Coyote?

I found this quiz, and it's pretty accurate (well for me anyway)
What's your magical personality?
Mine is:
Your Primary Mythical Creature Air Types The main strength of the Air types is intellect. The second element indicates the most probable focus for this intellectual activity.
Firebird Air with Fire
Astrologically associated with Aquarius and the Eleventh House
Firebird types are idealistic and driven to achieve something of social or artistic value. They have a strong sense of social justice associated with powerful moral and religious convictions. These convictions are often chosen by the individual on the basis of reason rather than simply received from an existing tradition. They are brilliant at producing original ideas and creative solutions to problems and are good at inspiring others to put them into practice. They can be impatient for results. They hate routine and lose interest once a problem has been addressed, moving swiftly on to the next challenge. They are intense and need a high level of autonomy. They are sociable but goal-oriented. They have good leadership potential but are really more concerned with problem solving. They are unconventional and often radical. Your Shadow Creature Water Types All the Water types have problems relating to feelings and closeness. The weakest element indicates the main focus of these problems.
Satyr Water and Earth
This shadow is by turns self-neglecting and over-indulgent and exhibits lack of discipline and self-control. A proper diet is avoided while harmful practices are pursued to excess. They are very active physically and mentally but produce nothing lasting. They want power and can be ruthless in their attempts to get it. They are secretive, and don¡¦t trust others because they themselves can¡¦t be trusted. They have an urge to dominate others and can be insensitive to their emotional needs. They are plagued by an underlying sense of emptiness that explains an apparent self-destructiveness. The biggest obstacle of weak Earth is to overcome self-centeredness and greed; the biggest obstacle of weak Water is to overcome insensitivity and alienation.

Boohoo! I am but an innocent bird who likes to chirrup: "I am innocent!"
My Slythie side must be surfacing more these days.
*a wonky morph of face a-la potion-morphing ensues* I need power! I lust for power! You cannot hold it from me!
*cough* Erm, yes.....as I was saying, my only eagerness right now is to finish my exams.

*falls off her chair* Okay! That was hilarious!!! ;D
Though I kind of expected it to have a proper ending and not to loop the thing back to the beginning.
