What is that supposed to mean?
This might require a bit of an essay answer but, what is the functional difference between the two capitals of Bolivia?

I thought the point of this was to see what you could know through logic and reasoning without referring to other resources?

Yes it's true Ko, but the thing is, (I have a very limited knowledge of geography and I *eep* don't even know where Bolivia is; you can kill me now ).
I'm sorry about this, but could you perhaps think of something, I dunno, kinda more simple. Pwetty pwease?

Okay. FYI, Bolivia is in South america - here's a map:
As you can see, Bolivia has two capitals - La Paz and Sucre. Traditionally, La Paz is the "official" capital but basically the reason it has two capitals is that Sucre is home to the judicial branch of the government (making it the constitutional capital), while the president and congress are stationed in La Paz (the administrative capital).
Sorry that was so hard... the reason I knew the answer was because in philosophical logic if you refer to "the capital of bolivia" that term has no meaning because there are two things you could be talking about!
Okay. I'll do a new (and hopefully easier) question:
A platypus is a type of monotreme. What makes a monotreme different from other mammals?

Monotremes are mammals that do not give birth to live young, they lay eggs instead.....i think.........

Gah. You live in Australia, where the only monotremes in the world are found. But yes... that's right!

Hm...I had never heard of monotremes. So, apart from a platypus, would say a tortoise be a monotreme? (I suck at this kind of thing; we did mammals and cold-blooded animals in my first year and I can't remember a thing )
Your turn Zicdeh.

Herm, the two monotremes are the platypus and the echidna some Australian history for you- when was the Eureka Stockade?

I won't answer this one.
Hermy, a monotreme is a mammal that lays eggs instead of giving birth to live young, so a turtle isn't a monotreme because it's not a mammal. There are only two types in the world and they both live in Australia - since our animals here are so weird.

I know nothing of World history(blame that on the stinking syllabus) so I'm just shooting at the stars here.

Since this thread has been rather dead recently, let's try and liven it up a bit shall we?
Okay, so:
Q: Who was the man who came up with the original idea of nuclear fusion?

I want to say Einstein, but that is a completely random guess and it's only because I'm reading all these philosophy of science papers at the moment.

Einstein was a sort of stimulator for the idea to come forth yes, because he came up with the idea of matter. Nevertheless it was the German physicist Hans Bethe, in 1938, who first suggested that nuclear fusion might be what provides the energy of stars such as the Sun.

(Oh about philosophy! I've done my first ever essay. I should post it. )
Another question: In what year was William Shakespeare born and where did he live?
