well i have recently learned that cloves are a good herbal remedy for fighting infection, not garlic cloves but the herb, you know? the stuff in ginger snaps etc. And anyways, i have an infection from my wisdom tooth surgery, because of a pocket formed under a tooth during surgery and my oral surgeon packed the hole with a small bit of gauze soaked in oil of cloves.

Yeah, my grandmother used to use oil of cloves and stuff for big cuts as well. It smells icky
Another good one is zinc for healing wounds. Just eat really zinc-rich food, like nuts. Actually, if you have sore teeth, maybe not.

It's icky. Maybe it's because my grandmother used to use one of those clove orange things (like you stick all these cloves into an orange so it's spiky) and that smell... yeah. I don't know.
I love honey roasted nuts! We make our own. I like cashews the best ;D

Oh man, I love cloven oranges. They smell wonderful. The cloves draw the moisture out of the orange and put the smell of orange and spice on the outside, and you can hang them in a corner, and it smells like a holiday feast all year. It's really excellent.

Has anyone tried cucumbers plastered all over your face with some cream? I certainly haven't although people say it's supposed to strengthen your skin and even out it's smoothness and colour.
Cloven oranges.....their so relaxing to smell....especially after a long hard days work.

Hehehe, I should make you guys some cloven oranges... we used to make them for the holidays and everything. I think it's because you use your hands and the smell gets all over them so that's why I'm sort of not too fond of it. But yeah, those are fun to make and you hang them in your cupboards or whatever - I think that's what you're supposed to do!

I enjoy cloven oranges too, we've always got them up around the holidays! Ko...I can't believe you don't really like them! And you can make fun patterns with the cloves in the oranges...
For tension headaches, put two tennis balls at the base of your neck when you lay down. It'll take about ten minutes. The balls massage out the tension.

I've heard that cucumber chopped very, very finely, mixed in with natural yogurt and a little bit of lemon juice and put on your face as a mask is really good for your skin. Can even help to soothe sunburn.
I'm finding that going for a half hour to hour long walk in the evening after dinner is a great way to get rid of the days tension and any stress that's built up, and also helps to clear my head so I'm not thinking as much when I go to bed (think is what always keeps me awake).
