I've decided to try and give HP fan-art a chance. I only have two drawings. One I'm posting, the other I ain't posting - it's a very silly looking Tonks who will look better when done a second time, now that I have her style figured out. The one you're about to see isn't exceptional either - it's not that good, actually, the style's a bit childish, but it's what I came up with. I drew it for a French friend of mine. I was getting pretty tired by the end of it, so Snape, McGonagall, Cho, Dean, and the blonde guy next to Ginny look kinda forced and expressionless. But, nevertheless, here it is.
Group picture Left to Right: Cho, Patil person, Neville, Patil person, Snape, Hermione, Dean, Harry, Fred, Ron, George, McGonagall, Luna, Draco, Ginny, Pansy, Michael Corner (I drew it before Book 6 I'm in love with Ginny at the moment).
I'll also use this thread to post non-HP sketches, which I have a few as well. But now I'm a real HP fanart kick, so you'll be seeing more of these soon, I hope.
This is a tombstone in Agramonte cemetery, up North in Oporto.

New ones! This one is my first Ginny ever. She doesn't look Ginny-ish, but I want to believe that's because I didn't colour her. I'll do another one, eventually, since Ginny is now one of my favourite characters. Thing is, I picture her to be so cute that it's hard doing one that matches the way I imagine her to look like.

And this was the first time I drew Emma Watson playing Hermione. This is, as you'll recognize by the hair, the Yule Ball scene. I hope you like it some comments would be nice

Ooh, my favourite is the grave. I like the shading and the detail around the statue of the woman. It looks pretty realistic - did you draw it off of a photo?
Of the Harry Potter pictures, the group one is cool, and so is the Draco/Lucius one (I'd like to think it's Draco cuz he's cute, but the ponytail seems to suggest Lucius ). Anime style seems to suit you well. As for the portraits, may I offer a suggestion? I think the eyes should be a little closer together.
At least you're actually drawing and not being lazy like me...go you

But the group one is so childish, and almost invisible! The original is in France, that's a copy of the original, which by itself distorted the colours a bit, and then the scanning made it even worse. But I'm glad you like it, means I don't suck.
I drew a grave from a picture, yes, but I'm proud to say I stood next to it in April and I'll be able to do sketches in the actual cemetery in September. The statues in the graveyard are just beautiful, you have no idea.
And thanks for the eye tip. I do make them too far apart, that's why I have so much trouble doing noses.

That's the hard part, since I'm a Sirius fan since his name was mentioned in PS, so... it's the same with Ginny, I can't draw well characters that I find extra cute.

Rita they're awesome. I'm proud to say I have no artistic talent whatsoever... my poor stick figures.
I too liked the sketch of the gravestone the best. It was the shading that made it stand out. It gave me a sense of there being something beyond death you know.

This one was made a long, long time ago. I was at the beach and had nothing else to do, so I picked up a black-ink pen (as you can see ) and started drawing what I was seeing. So there's the river (I didn't have the patience to draw the whole water effect) and the mountains on the back, and I hope you can make-out the fortress and the little houses and trees. And the thing sleeping in front of me is a dog. The perspectives are a little weird, but...
And this one I'm actually really proud of, for no apparent reason, since it's a pretty simple drawing. Lily and James. I have two versions; the coloured version and the black and white version. This is, obviously, the black and white one.
