Wow! You liked it?! See, even simple phrases like that still amaze me. What did you like about it? Or what was your favourite part?
And I think I'm going to modify things and put the story in a different color so it's easy to pick out from the talking. Is there a color that's not too blinding?

I know...I just always see other people's comments as much higher than my own, so I'll be thinking of something one way, and then someone will comment, and I'll be completely surprised. Right, I'll shut up now.

Right now it's caught up in the Elaine-editing machine... She's sort of busy right now, but I'll have it soon and I'll post it right when it comes back to me.

Oh, well, ::grins a bit sheepishly::, see I have this habit. I’ll read something that someone else wrote, and ideas will just fly into my head, and I don’t feel right until I’ve written them down. Besides, ::grin stops being sheepish::, she hasn’t posted in a while, so I thought I’d just keep the story going a bit. I could take it off if you like…

*nods* I would like. I happen to know Rue is merely being a perfectionist about the next chapter and will post it soon. Plus, I would like to see what else you can write yourself so I'll give you a thread, alright?

Nialle dawdled on his way back to the Ravenclaw Common Room. He looked at the books in his arms, and the portraits, and the ceiling, and the stone floor. He was just glimpsing the lake through a small window, when he crashed right into something very solid. It sent him reeling backwards to land with a thump. “Sorry,” he said automatically as he noticed the thin, red-headed girl lying across from him, trying to disentangle her splayed limbs. He recognized her from that day he got sorted into Ravenclaw. She was the one sitting diagonally across from him, the one whose sleeve knocked over her goblet. He smiled slightly to himself. “S’all right,” she muttered, slowly getting up to her knees. “No, really,” Nialle started gathering the various books lying on the floor, but then looked up at her face. “I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going.” She blushed and ran a hand through her short hair in a vain attempt to make it somewhat orderly. With the other hand she collected some of her own books that had mingled with Nialle’s. “It was my fault,” she whispered. “I-I-” Her cheeks went pink. “Um…that’s my book.” “Your book? You read Greek mythology?” Her now scarlet head nodded slightly; her now scarlet head which Nialle happened to be staring at open-mouthed. “I didn’t know anyone else here was interested in Greek mythology.” He stared at the book in his hands ruefully. "From A to Zeus" he chuckled, trying to turn his attention back to reality. “Have you read about Sisyphus?” “No, not yet,” she said cautiously. “I just got that book out of the library, and I've only read one other book on Greek mythology, which was a present from my mother." Up until that point they had been ignoring the trickling stream of students walking through the hallway, but now the trickling stream had upgraded to a steady tide. Nialle picked up the rest of his books quickly, grabbing up From A to Zeus in his rush. “That’s mi-“ she started to say, but he was already making his way through the other students. “I need to go to Transfiguration,” he hurriedly explained. “Talk in the Common Room around ten?” “Um…sure,” the girl whispered, starting to make her way to her dorm so she could pick up her Transfiguration books. Her face was a map of confusion. ~~~~~
