Characterisation differences? What do you mean exactly?

I have found some pictures of Angelica Mandy, the girl who will be playing Gabrielle, Fleur's sister.

I found a link to this article on Mugglenet stating that Robbie Coltrane has broken his arm. But back on Mugglenet they said it was only a rumour.

*wrinkles nose* You know, maybe it's still the thing about Mr Fish, but generally I haven't liked most of the people they've cast for GoF! The girl that's supposed to play Gabrielle looks enough like Fleur, but she looks kind of... impoverished and not very veela-ish in those piccies. Who is this casting director?!

Gabrielle's cute, but she looks at least 14...15, really. She's only supposed to be what, 12? Younger?? Am I right? Or just remembering things wrong? I get the fact that veelas are uber hot (: but I just think she ought to look younger since Fleur kind of treats her like a baby, and she gets rescued and is kind of a plot device to make Harry look like a hero. *shrug* Eh well. She is just adorable, though.

Those pictures are from Vanity Fair. But she looks a lot like the girl cast as Fleur. Besides, the one cast as Fleur is quite old really. Ok, not very old but I recall she's 22 or something while Fleur in the books is supposed to be what? 16?

Yeah, but I guess if they look whatever age they're supposed to be or whatever, it's okay. I mean, the "Back to the Future" movies were done when Michael J Fox was like, what, in his late 20s or something and he's meant to be a high school student. (Sorry, nerd reference there)
But yeah, maybe Gabrielle just looks older than 12 there because of what she's wearing...??

Perhaps the make-up they used too influences her age.
Personally I don't think she's older than 12. Guess it's just a point of view huh?

Hmmm, well she still does have a sort of baby face, and I guess you know these days with 12 year olds... some of them look older than me.

She looks to be about 12 to me, too. She's got the round cheeks that (like ko said) give her a baby face image, but yeah, she looks like someone from the play Oliver. Cute but poor. The lighting in the picture isn't very good, so maybe that's why she looks the way she does, and I'm also hoping that the pic is taken of her being backstage, and not a pic/scene that's actually in the movie.

Wow! She actually looks so much better than that really bad picture they had of her with that weird hat on. That's a good pic of her.

I've been gone so long I'm having HUGE difficulties remembering the colour codes. Every post I'm making has a different colour.
She actually looks pretty! It's such a huge difference... I wonder what happened when they took the other one
