Here, I've put the picture here (I just saved it onto my compu and then uploaded it into photobucket... how did I live before I had a photobucket account!?):
Ron REALLY could do with a haircut. The fluffy Shakespeare hair doesn't work for him.

Yeah. Actually, I really don't like that hair on him at all. It's kinda foppish.
But hey, those school robes look different... there's like a scarlet/maroon lining in under the black material... will all the different houses have different robes then?

Personally, I don't like his hair either.
Thanks for putting it up Ko. My Photobucket account is a mess of signatures and avatars right now.
The robes question always had me a bit confused because if students buy their robes before going to Hogwarts, and they have a coloured lining, how on earth are they supposed to know which colour of lining they need for their robes?

Yes of course. The director has indeed changed Lina. While for POA there was Alfonso Cuaron, for GOF there's Mike Newell which you may have heard of from Four Weddings and a Funeral and Mona Lisa Smile.

Li, you hated PoA?! I thought it was the best one. I guess Cuaron's style can be sort of love-hate. I just thought he turned the movie into its own entity, though, so that even people who haven't read the book could be completely engaged in the story. I still like the first two movies, of course, but they depended so much on the books.
Anyways, yeah, I would've loved Cuaron to do OotP too.

Coincidentally, I re-watched POA again last night. I actually found some stuff which I found, not "lame" but kind of less believable. Like I found the older actors acting much better, which is kinda obvious come to think of it, seeing how they have more experience.

Why would better acting be less believable?

i HATED that movie *fits of rage* i left the theatre in a bad mood lol.
I think he would do OotP good though, because its a dark book, and that seems to be his stye.
i mostly hated the set in that movie, and the skinny werewolf

Why would better acting be less believable? Sorry I got the wording wrong. I meant that the way some of the younger actors act at times is rather lame.
And I hated the werewolf. And the ending. The only ending I found proper was the one in PS.

Haha! That skinny werewolf thing had me laughing because it was just so wrong and fake. I think Cuaron did a good job making it all dark and scary and stuff, but yeah he might be better with like GoF and stuff. It's more broody and dark.
HP1 is still my favourite, just because the whole... I don't know, magic of the films died out with that friggin' annoying Dobby (curse him!) and then again with PoA. I didn't mind most of the film, it's just some of it was so contrived.
And that robes thing. Maybe they buy the robes and THEN get the lining once they get sorted? Or the lining changes colour? I have no idea.

I hate Dobby too!! Seriously it's better off without him. If he got anywhere near me, I'd kick him so hard he'd shoot all the way to Australia. Then you could give him a good kick too Ko. (My my, aren't we all fiery today )
As far as I know, there's nothing in the book about lining is there? Or maybe it's black originally, and changes once you get in a house.

Okay, I'll give you that much. Dobby and the werewolf and the ending of PoA were lame looking. But I still thought all the movies were good.
Maybe the lined robes are only for upperclassmen. So they already know their Houses.

Hmmm, yeah, but then it would be inconsistent for some people to have lined robes and other students not, I suppose. I mean, in all the shots of everyone eating in the great hall, everyone looks the same in terms of how they're dressed, right? I actually want to see what the costume designers do with this in the movie; it would be really bad if someone with the red trim in first year went and THEN got sorted into Gryffindor.
