Well, a lot of people are just as crazy, so they would probably understand. If someone asked me, I might look at them strangely and laugh, but then I'd probably think it's a pretty cool idea (as long as the person was old enough to understand that it wasn't actually real...you wouldn't want a young kid to get carried away). So I think you need to find some more HP obsessed friends!!

I think so too, Silver. I think so too. I've probably said this before, but the people who does express love for Harry Potter in my school are Gryffindor fans. They have the T-shirt and scarf to prove it. Blah. If I wore my scarf, everyone would be giving me weird looks. Not only is it Slytherin, but it's also the colors of our rival school.

Ooh, that's a double blow. Well, you can still enjoy the Gryff fans at your school. I just figure that that's about as good as it will get! There's no shame in wearing some red and gold just to show that you like Harry Potter in general. You can think of it as a plot to infiltrate the Gryffs!
That's an interesting avatar. Does Cassandra ever abuse Ron? I don't remember anything in DD. I guess it's in one of the sequels. Or it's just a joke that I don't get.

Him... Red is our school color and I like the color... but when it's with gold... No thank you. Besides, too many people like the lions. I like to be a little different. Perhaps I'll find myself a Ravenclaw scarf. The eagles need a little support.
I think Ron is picked on a lot. Mainly by Draco, but then all his friends and family turn on him. You know, they start to like our dear Draco, which pisses Ron off to no end. He also gets kidnapped by Voldie... and the whole thing with Hermione, aka Pansy. What a terrible life.
Oh, I came across this really funky song when I was browsing around Windows Media Guid. I looked the song up and here's what I found... Ode To Harry Potter
It's not a great song, but it amuses me. I don't like the Ginny + Harry thing. Unless it involves Harry being jealous of Ginny, which you can only find in fanfiction...

If you want to give some much needed support, I think it's the Slytherins that need it in your school. In most cases, though, I think Hufflepuffs get the least respect. Immature people (not trying to offend anyone here) often like Slytherin because they like to be "bad." Of course, I have no respect for those people, so it all balances out.
Hmm, I never read those parts. I think you just gave away the rest of the Draco Trilogy for me.
My computer is being idiotic again, so I only read the lyrics. There's really no actual proof of Draco/Ginny anywhere, which is why Harry/Ginny is sorta common. Fangirls just like Draco/Ginny because it's the whole opposite attracts thing.

Hufflepuff is bashed about quite often...I assume that we all know what they say about the poor misunderstood badgers. The only real respected houses are Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.
What you say is true. They like Slytherin because they like the idea of rebellion and "punks", the bad guys. That's not a bad thing... ((since we kind of are, in a sense)) but when they think that is all that Slytherin is, a bunch of evildoers, then that's when I get a little annoyed. Of course there is always the "Oh ewww, Slytherin! They are evil!" ((hissing sounds and cross signs are remarkably not involved))
Not really. There's a whole bunch more to it... and I didn't even think you would want to read past the first part. Ms. Claire hasn't come up with any more chapters lately... Bummer. I've been waiting and waiting.

I completely forgot what we were talking about. It's been a month since anyone responded.
All true. Except I'd say that in the books, the only ones that are completely respected are the Gryffindors. They are the heroes, after all. In the scale of goodness, it goes G, H, R, then S.
Can you tell I'm getting lazy?
I haven't read past Draco Dormiens yet. I thought the idea for DD was good; I definitely would never have been able to create a full fanfic like that.

Yeah, sorry about that... I was side tracked.
Yes I agree... and I'm getting lazy too. It's past twelve and I have to get up around 8 a.m. tomorrow for more drama stuff. I'm helping with the set. -sheepish grin- It's fun...

So you act and work backstage? That's awesome. You really are very involved with drama (*remembers her toga initiation* )! Don't you direct sometimes, too? Are you interested in studying drama in college, too? Maybe you can become the next great actor in our generation!!

Heehee. Well, technically, I'm just in the cast, but I've been helping with the set. ((painting mostly)) It's really fun, but it takes quite a bit of energy. I try to get involved because I really like it... I'm not sure about my major in college though. Partly because my parents will have a little grudge...
Anyway, no, I don't direct, but I'm hoping that I could be an assistant director some day. Only the seniors are allowed to be student director. Eh. I'm only interested in assisting anyway. And although that sounds really nice, Silver, I don't think I want to be a star. Maybe some minor roles here and there... but I really want to be a part of a great production. That would be great! A designer or... something like that.
Hey, do you have any idea what you would like to be or major in? .

Me? Not a clue.
Okay, well maybe you can focus on theatre instead of (movie/TV) acting. That would be really rewarding, too, and you could continue doing what you like to do.

Aw, I know what you mean. Actually, I really don't know just what I want either. However, theatre does sound like so much fun... the audience just makes it worth while.
((Can't post much... must go in an hour and I have other stuff to do too.))

Oooh, have fun at...rehearsal or whatever!
I'm not really into drama (as a career; I love to watch it), although sometimes I wish I were more into it. Some of the coolest people I know are drama people; they're all so clever, articulate, close, and just overall friendly. And cute! They're so cute! Haha. I love seeing them dressed up and excited before a show.

You know what? Theater make-up sucks... but it looks cool. It's so... thick and blah. I lathered olive oil all over my face to get the stuff off. Can't you just picture you smiling face?
Drama people are the best. They don't care what others think; they could act as weird and crazy... oh man.... the stories I have to tell! Our teacher is the greatest person on earth. Like I said before, coming out and watching the show is more than just getting "into it". It really helps. Oh, and how about you ask if you could help out? You know, building sets, make-up... just ask and see if you could be of assistance. I'm sure they'd be glad to have an extra hand. Maybe even overjoyed.
You know what's sad though? The stagecraft people seem to be just a little bitter towards the cast. A friend and I came early and stayed late for a few of the rehearsals to paint the sets... This one guy in particular kept saying 'actors this, actors that'. It really bugged me even though I could understand why he would be bitter. ((I still have to finish homework ))

Yeah! After the latest performance I went to at my school, I went to say hi to one of the actors and he was completely covered in makeup. It looked so weird!! ;D
I don't have time to work on crew, but even if I did, I don't think I would. Not that there's anything wrong with crew. I used to do it when I was in grade school and middle school, and it was really fun.
You're primarily an actor, right? I can see why crew people would be bitter, too. It might be jealousy, in a way.
