I wanna see the funny picture! *pulls out wand* Funciona!
Do green apples (granny apples) taste differently than red apples (red delicious)?

-rubs chin-
Hmm.... Well, I don't really like red apples because the ones I've tried were, er, mushy. The green apples on the other hand were actually crunchy. What bad descriptions... There are so many kinds of apples...
Though I must admit that red apples are pretty. The dark red ones.

I came across this song and it sounded so... Slytherin. I'm not going to post all of the lyrics because a lot of it is rather -ahem- inappropriate...
I didn't want to hurt you baby I didn't want to hurt you I didn't want to hurt you but you're pretty when you cry

I was just watching a rerun of "King of the Hill," and heard this quote. Works perfectly.
Hank: So, Gilbert, how do the Saints look this year? Gilbert: Oh, I am more familiar with sinners than saints, my dear. And sinners always look good.

A line from Robert Frost's poem "Choose Something Like a Star" (1916).
It will not do to say of night, Since dark is what brings out your light.
I liked that second line very much. For my Amores project a few months ago, I created a very simple pastel drawing, juxtaposing blue and yellow, and I explained how complementary colors look brighter when placed together.
I thought Frost's poem contained a similar image: when a person with a "dark" personality shows his true colors, it looks especially bright. So Slytherins in general--if they're ever able to express themselves without holding back for fear of revealing too much or losing grasp of the situation--is able to really shine.
That's how I read the line, anyways.

"...i didn't want to hurt you baby i didn't want to hurt you i didn't want to hurt you but you're pretty when you cry..."
"...i didn't really love you baby i didn't really love you i didn't really love you but i'm pretty when i lie..."
-- These are just simpets of a song called "Pretty When You Cry" by Vast.
It was the song Cassie Claire ((one of my fav. fanfic writers)) used to describe her Tom Riddle's character. ;D

Teehee... Yeah, it's lovely isn't it? I really like the "but I'm pretty when I lie" part. It's so Slytherin.
Mmmm, yeah, I like my sig as well. Tom looks so innocent - it makes me smile. -dazed look-

Cool lyrics, Willow.
Some quotes:
"Each of us bears his own Hell." -- Vergil
"We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell." -- Oscar Wilde
Both kinda go along with the quote above our Commons door (), except more perceptive of the fact that Slytherins tend to cause a lot of their own suffering, at least indirectly.
And this one is just funny ;D
"Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company." -- Mark Twain

Oscar Wilde is so definitely a Slytherin. ;D
"Behind every exquisite thing that existed, there was something tragic."

This is terribly late, but thank you for the apple, Lianne. ;D It's beautiful.
I picked up book four of the Vampire Chronicles a few days ago and it said something about the word "Satan". Apparently it means "The accuser" in some language... I have forgotten which one. Just thought you guys would like to think about that.
...The Accusers. Very fitting for Slytherin, don't you think?

You might've heard these quotes before; they're pretty typical. Slytherin with a touch of humour. ;D
* Friends help you move. Real friends help you move bodies.
* Some people are only alive because it is illegal to shoot them.
