Hey all. I was just wondering.....did we ever come to a conclusion as to who are the winners? It's been quite a while, hasn't it?

Hey, Tasia! How've you been?
Yeah, about that...both our judges became unusually busy, so I don't think the stories were ever judged. What do you think we should do? We could just leave the entries as they are, or we could find new judges.

Fan! Fan! *waves*
Anyway, yeah. I've been thinking about this as well, it's been almost 10 months since we submitted our stories. I've seen Robin around a bit lately, so maybe we could ask her again? Alternatively we could leave it to find new judges, or maybe Robin can give us the stuff she's evalutated already, since she's mentioned that she's done that, but I don't know about Di on this one...

*waves back* Hey Neko. I've missed you bitterly. You too, Nixie. Asking Robin sounds like a good idea. And if she declines, perhaps she'd at least be willing to share her judging knowledge with someone else.

The problem with this is that Di has gone missing for ages and because she originated the contest - she has all of the rubrics and information on judging. Also, we were asked to judge together and I wouldn't feel comfortable making decsions on my own without some formal approval and maybe some additional help. I'll see if I can talk to En about this and see what shim suggests.

En thinks Robin is highly capable but could use some help. People who are interested might wish to post in here so Robin (and En) can talk to them, and people with ideas about the judging could post in here too, so that when Robin has a co-judge (or co-judges) they could discuss a rubric with people's suggestions in mind. How does that sound?

That's fine with me. It is quite a job to do by oneself. I would welcome another judge who, of course, is not a contestant. That might be a problem only posting in here though. I think most of the people that come in here are wondering what is happening with the contest and are contestants. Maybe we need to post it in a "Help Wanted" thread?
Or - after a brief IRL discussion with En - my partner Karen and I could evaluate the stories together. She is a middle school language arts teacher and, in the past, I've made her read the stories anyway, to give me her input.
Contestants - please let me know ASAP if it would be ok for Karen_Hooch and I to evaluate your stories together to get this one wrapped up.

Fine by me also! (Robin, I think there might be an old rubric lying around somewhere... check your PMs.)

It's ok by me to! I think it would be really good to get the results and everything.

Awesome. Thanks again, Robin and En. Can't wait to see the results. ^_^
