I didn't really enjoy Enter the Matrix. Too short, me thinks......
Grrr. I'm currently having a lot of trouble with the final boss on Unreal Tournament 2004, so i've given up a while, and gone back to final fantasy 6 for a while

Haha, Zicdeh, I was playing Enter the Matrix and I didn't know what to do with that hacking bit, and it really annoyed me so I stopped playing it... well, that and I also kept dying in the fight with the helicopter in the airport...
Yeah, I think I'll get ROTK EE first, and then when I hear all the reviews about MxO I'll make up my decision about that. Thing is, you know the stuff you get when you preorder it isn't THAT great... you only get 3 days extra gameplay before it is launched and stuff.
(What's Unreal Tournament?)

Unreal Tournament is a PC and console game where you go around shooting people with crazy guns. You can also play games like Capture the Flag, and whatnot. It's a total blast to play Ko. Mr. Kudo (my brother) and I love it.
Speaking of my brother, I'm dying for him to beat FFX, so we can finally start playing FFX-2. Oooh, I should pick up where I left off in FFVIII.
I'm also excited for Need For Speed: Underground 2. The first one's really good, and I'm anxious to see how 2 will top it off.
And Ko, you're not the only one looking forward to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. My brother gets a Game Informer subscription, and they featured in in 2 of their issues. It's gonna be one sick game!
EDIT: Oh Rubes, I've checked out Simpsons Hit and Run for the PS2, and I enjoyed it myself. The cars are cool, and you can dress the characters you play as in odd, but funny clothing. I haven't checked out the other versions for the rest of the consoles it's out on, but, hopefully, I will soon.

At least we know when MxO comes out though
Hit and Run is good? Righteo. I'll tell my brother. Thanks Lynn
What's your favourite level in UT? Lava Giant is a favourite of mine, especially when you play it against the whole class in IT We used to hide the UT file somewhere in every second computer, and since the teacher was a dud, someone could always import it from somewhere ;D

It depends on what I'm playing it on, and since I haven't really played it that much, I can't name the levels off the top of my head. I like something that's spacious enough to play Capture The Flag. There was this one level on the XBox version where my brother and I were killing the opposing team by standing on these rocks. We kept getting headsshots after headshots. It was fun.

Okay, you guys haven't even brought up the biggest things that hits stores this and next year. First off is Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. OMFG it's so beautiful. Next is Kingdom Hearts 2. I'm hoping Stitch is available to play with *evil laugh*. Also, The Legend of Zelda (no subtitle yet), on the Gamecube, looks so beautiful it almost brought me to tears! Finally, the game of all games (at least I think so), Starfox Armada for the Gamecube is so awesome. I must say, I think Nintendo is taking a turn for the best!

I've only played Metroid: Prime. That game is god's gift to consoles, it is so unbelievably cool! Those graphics.....*drools*
Agreed, Kudo. The new Zelda is gonna rock. I loved Windwaker, but Ocarina of Time is still champ .
My fave UT level is on UT: 2004 and is an onslaught level....i think it's called 'Torlan'. Got a big comms tower in the middle. Onslaught mode is soo cool! TANKS ROCK!

Is the future release 'Zelda : Four Swords'?
Windwalker was my favourite. BUT! Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time are so unbelievably good.
Nintendo should never ever have let Perfect Dark go. Sheesh. I don't care if Rare went belly up. They should have kept the Rare fellows, and called them....Rarer
What's your favourite weapon in UT?

Yeah, four swords. That's it. Hmm....don't quote me on this, but i've heard that the Rare Dev Team that made GoldenEye and Perfect Dark are coming back for one final GameCube fanfare....just a rumour, though.
Fave weapon? Definately not the BioRifle. I despise that thing.....i love the Sniper Rifle. I'm getting pretty good with it. And i loved the Ripper from the original UT. Nothing beats firing razorblades at point-blank range

I'm a big fan of the Sniper Rifle and the Shock Core. Did you know that you can shoot the second function of the Shock Core with the primary function. ie Shoot the big blue thing with the small blue thing
Perfect Dark was the greatest game ever! We used to have Saturday nights of just playing Perfect Dark. *Drools* One of my mates used to be really good with the shooting-through-the-wall gun. And remember the laptop gun, that you could stick on a wall? What a great game! I miss playing massive multiplayer things like that

No Four Swords was the latest the new one I'm talking about was shown at E3! I play Counter Strike more then Unreal but my fav gun is the Lighting Gun!!! Gotta love the Lighting gun but when I played champioship at my friends house I went on Xbox Live and played CTF InstantGib style and it was Chaotic!

They released a new one at E3? Cool, that's even better.
Grr, i hated the shoot through the wall gun on PD! My friend was the worlds best shot with the damn thing, and he'd win the match before you'd even see him.......
And, yeah, i did know about the Shock Core's 'third' function. Comes in real handy, especially in Bombing Run mode when the person in question is surrounded with an escort. You can take out two or three at once, and do a hellbig amount of damage to anyone else in the area

Atari jacking back into the MatrixDespite the backlash against Enter the Matrix, CEO Bruno Bonnell says two sequels are in the works.Besides blasting Sony's lack of disclosure about the PSP last week, Atari CEO Bruno Bonnell disclosed a little something of his own. Speaking at the Piper Jaffray consumer conference in New York City, the outspoken Bonnell reportedly said that his company was planning two sequels to last year's Enter the Matrix. Bonnell said that the second game was being developed for the current crop of consoles and that the third game would likely be released for next-gen machines. However, he did not go into development specifics, omitting any mention of Enter the Matrix studio Shiny. Atari representatives contacted by GameSpot confirmed Bonnell's statements but would not divulge any other details about the games. Ironically, Bonnell's revelations contradict recent statements he gave to Reuters, when he was quoted as saying that there was no point in doing a licensed game unless it was released at the same time as its film source and featured the film's stars. "It is not a given that a great action movie turns into a great interactive game," he said. While Enter the Matrix was one of 2003's best-selling games, it received universally ho-hum reviews. Since its release, the Matrix brand has suffered something of a backlash, thanks to the middling reception of the film The Matrix Reloaded and widespread dissatisfaction with its sequel, The Matrix Revolutions. Anti-Matrix franchise sentiment is also blamed for Ubisoft's decision not to publish the Matrix Online, a PC massively multiplayer role-playing game set in the Matrix itself. (Sega will now distribute the game.) The backlash is also cited as a reason for the new policy by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the game arm of Matrix movie studio Warner Bros., to peg game royalties to aggregate review scores. EtM2Enter the Matrix 2 and Enter the Matrix 3. We will refer to these a EtM2 and EtM3
Hmmm. Since this is heaps recent, not much is known about the actual storyline Some rumours reckon 1) Seraph/Oracle/Merovingian, 2) Prequel to the original movie (Maybe we'll find out how the Nebuchadnezzar formed? ;D), 3) Path of The One (Spanning across all three movies).
I like 2) best. I want to play as Switch and Apoc

Oooh, Switch is cool. I liked Mouse, and then he went off and got himself killed.
But boo to this bit!

I'm sure I posted a reply to this before
Well, if I made a prequel storyline ( ), I'd make Mouse, Cypher, Apoc and Switch playable characters. I'd also put co-op mode in, with up to four players I really want to see how the Neb was formed, how Morpheus sought the One, what the Oracle told each crew member, things like that. I was hoping the Wachowski's would do an AniMatrix kind of thing for that, but if they make it into a game....all's the better!
I wouldn't be too interested in playing the path of the One. Unless something really interesting happened in the 6 months between the first two movies, there'll be nothing new, and so, nothing interesting
A Seraph-Merovingian storyline would be intriguing. I'd like to play that if it was made into a game. Extra footage would be sweet as well
Like Zicdeh said before, EtM was too short. They've got a good chance at producing a new game with a super in-depth storyline. Hopefully they'll do a good job (Whatever the story is they choose to tell)
What bit did you not like in that paragraph Ko?
