That's so sweet. Maybe I should be a thoughtful housemate. My roommate made snickerdoodles. Everyone who came over today appreciated them. Our friends Sam and Ingrid threatened to move in because we had eggnog and cookies.
Yeah it's the holidays. It's a good thing I have a seasonal job because I'm running short on money. The last thing I bought for myself excluding groceries must have been Naked Juice. I love that stuff. I think they should sell it to me wholesale, it would be easier than paying three dollars for a sixteen once bottle of juice. I did buy myself a jacket. I love it. It keeps me warm and looks great.

Coffee and t-shirts from Threadless because they were on sale for $10 a shirt, and some of them are so awesome. I got the one with the picture Willow has for her avatar.

I bought pizza for my roommates, which made everyone at my house so happy because we are all starving artists/students. We're in finals week and everyone is stressed and busy, so I thought buying pizza would help. There's a deal at Domino's on Mondays when you can get a small cheese pizza for $1.99, so I got one for each of the boys at my house and myself. Jason looked like he was about to cry or something. Aww, that is sweet.
Last thing I bought was an ice tea. Nothing extravagant, but hopefully I'll get a chance to do real Christmas shopping soon.

Yeah, I think we might make monday pizzas a tradition now. They seemed to go down well.
I bought Chinese food for myself. Well, there were other people that also bought food, so it's not like I'm eating it all. I'm at my office finishing a paper at the moment, and because it's due at like 9am tomorrow, a bunch of us are having a campout here tonight while we frantically scramble to write something about Ethical Theory. It's like a graduate student sleepover in the philosophy department! ;D

I got Hart a four-foot-wide dry erase board to hang in our office. He's so happy He loves using it as scratch paper for his philosophical arguments, most of which are totally in symbolic logic, which means I understand about every other word, I mean symbol

Oh, every philosophy office needs a dry-erase board for proofs, they are a staple in our department! I bet he loved that... we use ours all the time here. It's so ridiculously handy.
I bought a goat for a family in Rwanda.

Textbooks. And we had to go on some quest to find the most important one of them not cool.

Cal - I love those gifts, I got the goat one for my family, the "send two girls to school in afghanistan" one, and the "water pump in a village in Africa" ones, and my relatives loved them. I mean, this is better than buying people something lame like a box of chocolates, no?
No purchases lately, unless you count like $200 of textbooks.

I beat you in the textbook area. I bought two readers ($40), about eight books online ($80), a psych textbook ($85), a history book ($60), and my last two books for another $70. I still have to buy one more reader... so yeah, over $300. Not very happy about that.
I bought myself a pair of Sketchers shoes. I was surprised at the price, Sketchers at Macy's for under $25 dollars. Yay.
I bought chicken at the grocery store yesterday. It made me happy because 1lb was only $2.

Ew. I hate how textbooks are so expensive.
I bought groceries and got photos developed. It's my dad's birthday in a month or so, so I'm sending him a card and some pictures from here so he can see what I've been up to.
