It's not that expensive. As long as you book ahead and stuff, it's around $500. Round trip. I love travelling, so I'd say that's worth it.
And yes, I totally see how companies exploit people to make money off of fad diets. It's like, the philosophy of society today is 'Lose Weight!/Be thin!' and the companies use that because they know some people will do anything to reach an 'ideal weight.' *shakes head* Yet another of the evils of capitalism...
The thing about that guy (my English teacher), Natz, is that he's been to the ER 4 times since starting this diet because he hadn't gotten enough carbohydrates for the day and he collapsed with extremely low blood pressure. In 10th grade, a girl in my class baked a cake for him for his birthday. Because, you know, people on the Atkins diet sometimes cheat, especially if it's their birthday or something. And she made it specially low-calorie and everything, but he wouldn't touch it. And he talks all the time about his weight...in ways that I, having formerly had two eating disorders, recognise as signs of an eating disorder. *sigh* I guess I blame pop culture. I know it's not healthy to be obese, but neither is it healthy to obsess over eating. It's a natural function that should be carried out...naturally.

Its a shame that hes become so obssesed over it. I mean you do eat more than usual i noticed a definite increase in the amount i ate and then i noticed i was on another growth spurt. So it may not be overeating it could just be that your body needs the extra nutrients.
Why i am having a growth spurt at nineteen i do not know.
I love travelling as well. I might take myself on the train somewhere this saturday or next saturday.
I feel a bit trapped in this city.

I have this awful problem with Honey Nut Cheerios. I'm SO addicted to them, but I don't like them with milk. I have honey nut cheerios for breakfasts, snacks, and dessert. I'm afraid they're really unhealthy or something cuz I'm not very good at reading labels (which, even tho I do it all the time, I'm not very good at). Is there a nutritionalist on the board?

I'm not a nutritionlist but honey nut cheerios do unfortunatedly have a high quantity of sugar in.
Try weetabix instead. Or even better get addicted to porridge. I'm craving porridge.
Only eight days to go till i'm off round europe. ;D

Shame that you don't have pita bread in the house. Are you on the Atkins diet as well, or can you have pita bread out of the house? And what's soda bread? I ment to get to this sooner, oy to my crazy life
No, I'm not on Atkins Ko. I refuse to take part in that fad diet. My parents keep trying to convince me to get on it, but I've told them that I'm gonna do it my own way. They'll back off, eventually *shrugs*
I can have pita bread in the house, but I'd have to ask my parents to get it for me. Since my brother and I don't do the diet, they've continued to by cereal and bread for us. So, I could have it in the house, if I wanted to.
Irish Soda Bread is an Irish dish (obviously). It's a bread that is somtimes eaten like a dessert. That's the best I can explain it. If anyone can do better than what I just did, feel free.

Irish soda bread is so yummy! It's kind of like french bread, only not as dense. And it's sort of spongy. I hope I'm thinking of the right thing...

I recently had cravings for lemon merengue pie, that is until I got a tooth infection and had to take penicillin. I had to drink half a pint of this yellow liquid which had the consistency of lemon filling. Someone had gone to the trouble of adding lemon flavour which was very chemical. Urgh, made me want to gag and has put me off lemon merengue pie for life.
Currently craving wheat crackers

I never eat beef, I think it's unhealthy. For some odd reason, I craved it today, so I had half a Shepard's Pie from Trader Joe's, then bought some pemmican jerky from the store. My body officially hates me.

I really wanted some toast with veggie cream cheese and fresh squeezed lemon juice on it last night around 11:00 p.m. Happily I got it but I wanted it again this morning but we were out of bread though.

I've also had a craving for peanutbutter and Bannana Sammiches OMG, we're soulmates Abs. That is one of the best sammiches... EVER! I want one now
I've been dying to drive on up to Phoenix, go to the resturaunt my uncle manages (the best Italian food I've had in a while), and just enjoy good food, and excellent eye candy (all the waiters/bartenders are hotties to the max *drools*). *sigh* If I only could...
