I think the C6 is quite a new model actually so that may be why.
Personally, like I said above, I don't have much taste for older models. But my brother loves this car dearly. I remember he was watching a program once where they completely converted it into a newer thing while keeping the classic look on the outside. I think it was called Pimp My Ride. I don't know if you've ever heard of it.
Um, out of curiosity, what do "40bhp, 25mpg" mean exactly?

pimp my ride yea, good show. half of what they do is pointless.
40bhp = 40 brake horse power (how much power the engine gives out)
25mpg = 25 miles per gallon (how much fuel the...camper in this case, uses)
hehe, sorry if i confused you...

You mean the VW Combi Vans? I love them. I want one so I can drive around the country road tripping with my friends and we can live out the back of it and everything. You don't see them around as often enough though now.

Neko, yes i mean those vans. there are a few different types of them: combi, safari, split screens, camper, Bay Window.. to name just a few. (actually they were called types 1-4...dunno which is which though ) its a shame they are getting rare, but they do have a high tendancy to rust, badly. Neko, you might just beat me to buying one, as you have a lincense! i'll be happy with an old beetle/mini...or at a last choice, a 2cv.

Hahaha, those vans are awesome. I think we just generically called them Combi vans in Australia. Here's a picture of one (I actually think it's a Bay Window, but anyway you get the drift.):
But yeah, they're not too common these days... probably because of the rust. I'm sure you could redo one up or something, but you'd probably need to work on the body and respray the whole thing. It'd be great to modify though, imagine how could it would be tearing up the bush as you drive across the country.

With a little...or alot, of work, and one could look nice again. yea, that is a bay window.(personally, i prefer the ones with, like the big "V" shape on the front with 2 tone paint) Um, neko....it cant tear up the bush. they go 80mph max*. (*unless like one guy did, you swap the flat four engine in it to a toyota straight four....or his mate who put a buick V6 in his camper ;D ...) links: roadcow- tinyurl.com/cp5vk

Can I ask one, probably stupid question.
What is an SUV? I've heard so many mention it. I thought it was some type of car or something, but I'm not too sure. It's not exactly a term me use over here.

Oh I see. Personally I would call the second pic a Land Rover, but I'd probably mixing things up. Oy, vinnie, what do we call these things here?(lol, as if we're in like two different worlds :.
Regarding the pic you posted Vin, does that mean the Punto would be crushed while the SUV wouldn't? Because that would make the Punto "safer".

yes, the second picture is a land rover/range rover(same thing, different name, range rover is a split off, owned and started by land rover)
to clear it up: the differences between an SUV and a land rover is that the land rover is made to go primarily off road. an SUV is more like a posh car, which can somtimes go off road(but isnt very good at it).
is that what you mean cherry?
the punto and SUV crash thing, well... the punto will be an instant write off/ while the SUV would only have a few scratches and dents.
passengers in the SUV would most likely be less injured, as the SUV wouldnt be thrown around as much (SUV's are heavy) meaning less chance of whiplash, but also less chance of the airbags going off to protect the passengers.
the passengers of the punto would probably be more injured, from the punto being thrown around, more chance of whiplash (sudden stop from hitting the SUV) however, the airbags would go off, meaning the passengers would be shocked and battered, but would survive.
EDIT: wow! i went off on a bit of an thing there didnt i?...sorry!

Thanks for clearing the SUV/Range Rover thing up.
Nevertheless I was still wondering about the Punto thing because the main reason cars have been produced to crush easily is so that while it is true that the people can become crushed in the impact, there is less chance of getting injured in the case of a minor incident. I'll give an example:
If there's an incident where a Punto is involved with another Punto. Because the car is made to easily crush, there is less chance of the passengers to get hurt, and here I'm mostly referring to neck and back injuried.
If the above example were to be taken with 2 SUV's the passengers would most probably get hurt more because the car won't crush.
I remember doing this in Physics. I'll try and find what was actually said. It's been two years since this lesson so...
