I'm not much into rap either. Not most rap anyway. But there's this guy here, he's pretty good, and I guess those are the only rap songs I like.

Ivy, you would get along so well with this friend of mine...she adores Dir En Grey...and actually almost anything else to do with Japan.
I like classic rock. There's a classic rock station that we get here (Q104) and I like it a lot.

Oooh, Ivy, I was a Korn fan around the time of Issues. I loved Hey Daddy and stuff, but then I sort of grew out of them... I think it had something to do with always getting caught singing in the car and headbanging at the same time...

I'm not so much a Korn fan now either. I mean I'll still listen to the band, I'm just not running out to buy CDs or concert tickets.
I love Dir En Grey! They're just so... I dunno but I love them. At last year's convention a J-pop or J-rock band called Duel Jewel (or something like that) came and played. Luna and I didn't go but I heard they were really good.

Hey i was into korn a while ago. I bought a t shirt and never wore it. Now i'm into Madness and quite a lot of jazz. I do like Placebo as well. I was into five a long time ago. Starting to feel older I've never heard of that music before ivy. I'll probably try it now though. I can't seem to get into rap.

*giggles* Shhhhh, but I remember running out to buy the 5ive album... don't tell anyone though... but the Backstreet Boys are still better...
*coughs* Yeah, Korn was more of a listening thing when I was younger and angsty, and now it doesn't do anything for me really. I still like the tunes but I'm not as much into the meaning behind the songs- they seem to always be complaining about something.
Ummm... I can tell you that when I finished school in 1998, my favourite bands were Arkarna, Marcy Playground, Korn, the Beastie Boys and the Backstreet Boys. How incredibly messed up is that?!

Well, I listen to all types of music and right now I wouldn't be able to choose only a band or singer. I really like Placebo, too, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Blink 182, Coldplay, Green Day, Sum 41, Linkin Park, Robbie Williams, Oasis, Incubus and so on. I mostly listen to rock and rap. There are some good Spanish rappers here that don't go swearing on everything, and they're really good. I liked Backstreet Boys some years ago, too...

My sister was in love with N'SYNC and forced me to go to their concert once. It was awful. I felt like crying.
I'm an Oasis fan, although I'm a bigger fan of their older stuff. Hah, I heard the Marcy Playground hit the other day...I hadn't heard it in ages...ummm...Sex and Candy? It was on a tape I made...it had that, then a few sublime songs, a Green Day song and a few others. It's blurry...really blurry but I remember staying up all night listening to DC101 to catch the songs.
Beastie Boys used to be a favourite band of mine...there were, I think, a total of four of us in our town who liked them and we'd play their cd's outside in the summer and people would always complain.
I rarely listen to rap when it is my choice. Some of the older stuff, I've got a cd of Run DMC somewhere...and I have the soundtrack to Office Space so it has the "damn it feels good to be a gansta" song on it...

*grins* Ahhh, yes. Sex and Candy was like, what, circa 1997? I really liked their (self titled) album, a lot of songs sound kinda similar on it though. I think "Opium" was my favourite because it's one of those weepy songs, sort of like Coldplay's The Scientist but not to the same extent.
Alizz- You were a BSB fan as well? Hehehe, I thought there weren't any left...

Well really Neko, they've got some pretty great songs, so why shouldn't one?
Lately I'm into and always have been the pop person, but right now I like listening to Dido, Black Eyed Peas, let's see.....Robbie Williams. Lots of pop anyway.

My brother loves rap. Ick. They swear too much

Yay for MMM, Rubes! I thought that was just a Melbourne station... are you in the MMM Freq Club?
OMG! Herm! You know what BSB stands for! Well then, let me not tell you how I was going to marry one of them.

It stands for BackStreet Boys right? I hope I didn't do a mistake of a lifetime.
No way! You're serious Neko?
I agree with you Rubes. That's one of the reasons I hate rap. Although recently a friend of mine worte a rap song, it's real cool, about Malta and such, and lucky her, she had it read by a famous rapper here and is actually gonna record it!!

Yes, I am a Freq! And yes, I am going to win the $200 000 ;D 'The Cage' is my favourite bit. It's almost good enough to wake up to ((I normally sleep 'til 11 or 12 )). Triple M is in all the states, isn't it?
Oooh. I remembered a few others that I liked. Offspring, INXS, Oasis....However, I greatly despise country music..... Bleugh!
