Yea girls like that are annoying, but it's frustratng to like a band so much and want to hear another album of theirs but they never have another once because their first one was considered a "flunk". That's what I'm worried about happeneing with 'em. Plus I'd enjoy at least one friend nearby me to like them so I can talk about them with someone. No one around me really knows whothey are..then I have to sing "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" and then they say.."oh ya them, that's a cool song.."
I want them to get...yknow.. "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" popular. Everyone's heard of 'em, most people don't have an opinion on them but at least you can run into some huge fans when you go out.
But I see what you mean...I used to love Simple Plan and I wanted them to get known and they did...and now girls who think wearing a tie is punk rock listen to them and think they were cool from the beginning...but not really. I moved on to Three Days Grace but no one knows who they are so I just listen to their music all by myself and don't get to discuss my interest with them with anyone.

Someone mentioned X Japan!
They were still around when I lived in Japan. I used to love them!
My favourite singer is Geoff Tate. He sings for the rock band Queensryche, but he's also been doing solo albums with a jazzy-pop feel to them. His voice is one many male singers would give anything for - his unique tone, clean sound, and overall range. Despite what Mariah claims, her albums have only demonstrated a total of 4.5 octaves. Geoff here has been rated at a full 5, although he chose long ago to stop singing too high because he thought he was paying more attention to hitting notes than to a song's emotional content. I just think it's cool when someone can sing from Baritone to Mezzo Soprano without sounding cheesy - like many of the 80s falsetto-abusers were doing LOL.
I can't think of a favourite band. I listen to so many things from so many areas.

My favourite band is undoubtably Coheed and Cambria. If anyone knows their story, they might know why.
I'm so excited, I just got tickets to a concert they're doing down here, with two sets. One acoustic, one electric. I can't wait. ;D

Hehe, my favourite band at the moment is definitely Gorillaz. I mean, I loved their early stuff and Demon Days is just such an amazing album. It's so diverse and everything. But most of all I love the fact that the band is made up of nonexistent members. Yes, it's voiced by real people but they're not the band. And the people who make the music change every now and then anyway, so it's not about the people behind the band at all, but the music itself.

Coheed!! I can't believe you're going to the double show, wow!! I think they're music is amazing... and so are their lyrics... however I sometimes can't listen to Claudio for too long... high-pitched voice...

Sweet, I found a fan! Yeah, the show is the last "Evening with Coheed and Cambria" shows before they start touring this fall with the new album. It's gonna be taped for MTV, so look for my on the tube. I adore Claudio...he rocks my world. And, you might be happy to know, they play their new song Welcome Home in a much lower pitch. ( click!) They're also playing their live songs tuned down a whole step. The high pitched-ness is mostly just for the studio. ;D

SERIOUSLY?!?!?! OMG. i think i just became your best friend! And there is no reason to cough it up! I looooove My Chemical Romance. OMG. Since the start of the band, their first CDs, i have loved them and always will. I'm not one of those dumb people who are like "eek! my fave band has become popular so i'm moving on!" i dont care if my fave bands become popular--it actually makes me happy. it means that others get to enjoy the music i love. i had no problem with it when simple plan became popular, and i have no problem with MCR became popular. I mean, now i have to claw my way with other girl-fans to try and get that pic with Gerard (although i much prefer Frank, the guitarist. ), but hey, that's life. if youre not fighting for something you love and your passionate about, whats the point of liking it? GAH! I'm going to the My Chemical Romance concert in approximately 7 days, 7 hours, and 32 minutes! *jumps up and down*

LOL. rabid me, on the attack ^^^ of course, i still like MCR deeply...but my sister introduced me to a young jazz singer by the name of Michael Buble earlier this year, and i swear i'll die to have a private audience with him also great singers that've been introduced to me this year: Anna Nalick and Jack Johnson...i wish i had some of their talent...theyre geniuses.

Recently I really had this urge to listen to the Beatles. I found one of my dad's old cassettes, and I listened to it all and fell in love with them. They're just too awesome. I can understand just how much they revolutionised the world.
I love Michael Buble. I listen to his song Quando Quando last time. It's great listening to his awesome voice singing in italian. Of course the italians love him for singing a song in their native language. They're made like that. I love italian songs if you hadn't guessed.

lol. Quando Quando is a great song...although, i dont really like Nelly Furtado singing with him...just kinda...ruins it for me. >.< that's off of his newest cd...have you listened to the cd he had out before that one? i think it's self-titled...it's the one that has Fever, Moondance, Come Fly With Me, etc...on it. that's amazing... oy, that's italian? awesome. my mom and i were wondering...lol. sorry. we're culturally deprived, it seems. what is Quando, then?

My favourite band these days has to be the Dropkick Murphys. They do old irish pub songs and traditional songs from Ireland, Scotland, England ect. I love them! They're latest album is Warriors Code and has some awesome songs on it. I really wish they'd come over here to Australia so I can see them live. ;D
