Forever Ben Harper
Not talkin' 'bout a year No not three or four I don't want that kind of forever In my life anymore Forever always seems To be around when it begins But forever never seems To be around when it ends So give me your forever Please your forever Not a day less will do From you
People spend so much time Every single day Runnin' 'round all over town Givin' their forever away But no not me I won't let my forever roam And now I hope I can find My forever a home So give me your forever Please your forever Not a day less will do From you
Like a handless clock with numbers An infinite of time No not the forever found Only in the mind Forever always seems To be around when things begin But forever never seems To be around when things end So give me your forever Please your forever Not a day less will do From you

Midnight Red Hot Chili Peppers
Things will never be the same Still I’m awfully glad I came Resonating in the shape of things to come Never waiting when I know there’s only one
Messed it up but rest assured No one ever thinks they’re cured Just a minute while I reinvent myself Make it up and then I take it off the shelf
Over the laws of light Over the moon by midnight Let’s do it all this time Everyone wishing well we go
Everyone knows anything goes We are the lotus kids Better take note of this For the story
The rising moon is on the shine The blood of scorpios a nine Like the fear that’s in the eyes of every doe Say it now cause john and jane would like to know
Is it safe inside your head Songs to serenade the dead All along I said I know no enemies Mix it up until there are no pedigrees
Over the laws of light Over the moon by midnight Let’s do it all this time Everyone wishing well we go
Everyone knows anything goes We are the lotus kids Better take note of this For the story
Over the laws of light Over the moon by midnight Let’s do it all this time Everyone wishing well we go
Enter the rolling tide Over the ocean so wide Let’s do it all this time Everyone wishing well we go
Everyone knows anything goes We are the lotus kids Better take note of this For the story
Everyone knows anything goes We are the lotus kids Better take note of this For the story
Everyone knows anything goes We are the lotus kids Better take note of this For the story

the new lacuna coil album is awesome.
Lacuna Coil- Our Truth
Clock is ticking while I’m killing time Spinning all around Nothing else that you can do To turn it back
Wicked partnership in this crime Ripping off the past, condescending smile
Trying to forget (Wasting my time) We're falling right through Lying to forget (Telling more lies) We're raising our truth
Go and tease me
Clock is ticking while I’m still in time Can’t you turn it back? Stop the cycle, set me free Run away
Silence sneaking along my path Grab the rope off me, feeling like we'll fly(Feeling like we'll fly)
Time to forget (Wasting my time) The fall of my truth Lying to forget (Telling more lies) Our ways of our truth
Trying to forget (Wasting my time) We're falling right through Lying to forget (Telling more lies) We're raising our truth

I love this song by The Strokes. Yeah, it's old, you've probably heard it a million times, maybe it's even been posted here over the years... but I love it so much. It's so melancholic and sad and poppy at the same time. And besides, it's so sexy. The whole song has a very sexy feel to it. And I love the way Casablanca does vocals by the way. I just love the Strokes in general. anywaaay....
12:51
Talk to me now I'm older Your friend told you cause I told her Friday nights have been lonely Change your plans and then phone me
We could go and get 40's *censored* goin to that party Oh really, your folks are away now? Alright, let's go, you convinced me
12:51 is the time my voice Found the words I sought... Is it this stage I want?
The world is shutting out....for us. We were tense for sure, But we was confident...
Kiss me now that I'm older I wont try to control you Friday nights have been lonely Take it slow but don't warn me
We'd go out and get 40's Then we'd go to some party Oh really, your folks are away now? Alright I'm coming... I'll be right there.

I really like this song at the moment.
Across the Universe The Beatles
Words are flying out like endless rain into a paper cup They slither while they pass They slip away across the universe Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting thorough my open mind Possessing and caressing me
Jai guru deva om Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes That call me on and on across the universe Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box they tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe
Jai guru deva om Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world
Sounds of laughter shades of life are ringing through my open ears exciting and inviting me Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns It calls me on and on across the universe
Jai guru deva om Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Nothing's gonna change my world Jai guru deva Jai guru deva

I'm obsessed with this singer right now. And I really love his interpretation of the U.S. and traveling and just nature that's in all of his songs.
The Stars are My Chandalier by David Dondero
i love her more than he could ever even hope for love her twice as much as all of there is and more i could say my love is bigger than the big apple like oxyphenbutazone in scrabble
just like the stars are my chandelier just like these landscapes are my living room just like the highways are veins i am the blood, i am the rain
saw the stars align in twentyseven straight rows saw the trees becoming lovers in the shadows heard the crickets overpowered every radio heard the sound of the silence kill my ego, kill your ego, kill all ego
and all these stars were our chandelier and all these landscapes were our living rooms and all the highways are veins we are the blood, we are the rain
and you, you're heaven to hold we'll never get old you're heaven to hold honey, you're heaven to hold

The Lunatics Have Taken Over The Asylum Collide
I see a clinic full of cynics Who want to twist the peoples' wrist They're watching every move we make We're all included on the list
The lunatics have taken over the asylum The lunatics have taken over the asylum
No nuclear the cowboy told us And who am i to disagree 'Cos when the madman flips the switch The nuclear will go for me
The lunatics have taken over the asylum The lunatics have taken over the asylum
I've seen the faces of starvation But i just can not see the points 'Cos there's so much food here today That no one wants to take away
The lunatics have taken over the asylum The lunatics have taken over the asylum The lunatics have taken over the asylum - take away my right to choose The lunatics have taken over the asylum - take away my point of view The lunatics have taken over the asylum The lunatics have taken over the asylum - take away my dignity, Take these things away from me The lunatics have taken over the asylum The lunatics have taken over the asylum - take away my family, Take away the right to speak The lunatics have taken over the asylum take away my point of view, Take away my right to choose

Like a Rolling Stone Bob Dylan[/b]
Once upon a time you dressed so fine You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you? People'd call, say, "Beware doll, you're bound to fall" You thought they were all kiddin' you You used to laugh about Everybody that was hangin' out Now you don't talk so loud Now you don't seem so proud About having to be scrounging for your next meal.
How does it feel How does it feel To be without a home Like a complete unknown Like a rolling stone?
You've gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely But you know you only used to get juiced in it And nobody has ever taught you how to live on the street And now you find out you're gonna have to get used to it You said you'd never compromise With the mystery tramp, but now you realize He's not selling any alibis As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes And ask him do you want to make a deal?
How does it feel How does it feel To be on your own With no direction home Like a complete unknown Like a rolling stone?
You never turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns When they all come down and did tricks for you You never understood that it ain't no good You shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you You used to ride on the chrome horse with your diplomat Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat Ain't it hard when you discover that He really wasn't where it's at After he took from you everything he could steal.
How does it feel How does it feel To be on your own With no direction home Like a complete unknown Like a rolling stone?
Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people They're drinkin', thinkin' that they got it made Exchanging all kinds of precious gifts and things But you'd better lift your diamond ring, you'd better pawn it babe You used to be so amused At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used Go to him now, he calls you, you can't refuse When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose You're invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal.
How does it feel How does it feel To be on your own With no direction home Like a complete unknown Like a rolling stone? [/color]

Blackbird The Beatles
Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly All your life You were only waiting for this moment to arrive
Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these sunken eyes and learn to see All your life You were only waiting for this moment to be free.
Blackbird fly, Blackbird fly Into the light of a dark black night.
Blackbird fly, Blackbird fly Into the light of a dark black night.
Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arrive You were only waiting for this moment to arrive You were only waiting for this moment to arrive

Landslide originally by Fleetwood Mac, covered by Billy Corgan and the Dixie Chicks (that's how good it is, ha ha)
I took my love, I took it down Climbed a mountain and I turned around I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills ’till the landslide brought me down
Oh, mirror in the sky What is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides? Can I handle the seasons of my life?
Well, I’ve been afraid of changing ’cause I’ve built my life around you But time makes you bolder Children get older I’m getting older too...
Oh, take my love, take it down Climb a mountain and turn around If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills Well, the landslide will bring it down
If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills Well, maybe the landslide will bring it down

This song reminds me of Austin Powers.
I'll never fall in love again Elvis Costello
What do you get when you fall in love? A diamond pin to burst your bubble That's what you get for all your trouble I'll never fall in love again I'll never fall in love again
What do you get when you kiss a girl You get enough germs to catch pneumonia After you do, she'll never phone you I'll never fall in love again I'll never fall in love again
Don't tell me what it's all about 'Cause I've been there and I'm glad I'm out Out of those chains those chains that bind you That is why I'm here to remind you
What do you get when you give your heart You get it all broken up and battered That's what you get, a heart that's shattered I'll never fall in love again I'll never fall in love again
Out of those chains those chains that bind you That is why I'm here to remind you
What do you get when you fall in love? You only get lies and pain and sorrow So for at least until tomorrow I'll never fall in love again I'll never fall in love again I'll never fall in love again
I'll never fall in love again

I always get this song stuck in my head unconsciously. It's great. My friend says evertime I play it she ends up with it in her head all day. It's not like that's a bad thing.
Bon Jovi You Give Love A Bad Name
An angel's smile is what you sell You promise me heaven, then put me through hell Chains of love got a hold on me When passion's a prison, you can't break free
You're a loaded gun There's nowhere to run No one can save me The damage is done
[Chorus:] Shot through the heart And you're to blame You give love a bad name I play my part and you play your game You give love a bad name You give love a bad name
Paint your smile on your lips Blood red nails on your fingertips A school boy's dream, you act so shy Your very first kiss was your first kiss goodbye
You're a loaded gun There's nowhere to run No one can save me The damage is done
[Chorus]

Hahaha, my token Bon Jovi earworm song is "Livin on a prayer". I don't know why, but I think it goes back to the days of when everyone at a bar would sing along for no apparent reason.
Anyway, new RHCP album is out! And with a title like this, how could I not post it? However, I still don't like how "Michigan" rhymes with "skin" and "in".
Especially in Michigan Red Hot Chili Peppers
Life is my friend Rake it up to take it in Wrap me in your cinnamon Especially in Michigan ...well I could be your friend
White clouds I'm in A mitten full of fisherman C'mon Huckleberry Finn Show me how to make her grin ...well I'm in Michigan
Cry me a future Where the revelations run amok Ladies and gentlemen Lions and tigers come running Just to steal your luck
A rainy Lithuanian Who's dancing as an Indian Painted in my tiger skin (Especially in Michigan)
Double chins and bowling pins Unholy Presbyterians Land is full of medicine I find it when I'm slipping in ...into Michigan
The tainted new librarian Who fainted when she tucked you in Let's float away like zeppelins (On stoic gusts of Northern wind)
Out on the farm we'll be Swimming with the mother duck Deep in the mitten where Lions and tigers come running Just to steal your luck
Life is my friend Underwater violins Order now from Ho Chi Min A porcelain that comes in twins ..........When I'm in Michigan
Throw me in the looney bin 'Cause I can take it on the chin The cleavage of your pillow skin (Is moving like a violin)

Snow Patrol is a great band. They have this melancholic air about that I like a lot, and I obsessively listened to them this weekend. Anyway, here's one of my favourite songs by them. It's called "How to be Dead" and it's off their 2003 album, Final Straw. I've heard several theories about it: that's it's a parent and child arguing, a couple arguing, a gay couple arguing, a straight couple arguing, or a guy arguing with another side of him. Personally I think it's a couple arguing, doesn't matter if gay or straight, though since the lead singer's straight, I'd guess a straight couple arguing... The first stanza is when he comes back after havinf a hard time making a choice between drugs or the girl... then he and the girl argue in the next stanza, only the verses are not set up separetely: they cut off each other in midverse and stuff. And both of the guy's personalities (Jekyll and Hyde) are present. She's trying to talk but he keeps unterrupting. The third one is him talking again.
anywaaay...
How to be Dead
Please don't go crazy, if I tell you the truth No you don't know what happened And you never will if You don't listen to me while I talk to the wall This blanket is freezing, it's been out in the hall Where you've had me for hours Till I'm sure what I want But darling I want the same thing that I wanted before So sweetheart tell me what's up I won't stop no way
Please keep your hands down And stop raising your voice It's hardly what I'd be doing if you gave me a choice It's a simple suggestion can you give me sometime So just say yes or no Why can't you shoulder the blame Coz both my shoulders are heavy From the weight of us both You're a big boy now so let's not talk about growth You've not heard a single word I have said... Oh, my God
Please take it easy it can't all be my fault I haven't made half the mistakes That you've listed so far Oh baby let me explain something It's all down to drugs At least I remember taking the and not a lot else It seems I've stepped over lines You've drawn again and again But if the ecstacy's in the wit is definitely out Dr. Jekyll is wrestling Hyde for my pride

J'aime - Projet Orange
J’aime…
