*Reappears, having weighed-in* Hey guys, hows it going?
*Hugs Hermy and Sarah* It's been too long, but hopefully I'm here to stay for a while now. And I'm definitely up for a party!!
Nooow - what's all these shifty looks eh? Anyone care to update me on what's been happening over some Butterbeer?
*Sits on a leather sofa, conjouring a dusty butterbeer bottle and three glasses in mid-air*.

*hugs Wiz back* Indeed it has.
*Wiz pours some butterbeer into each of the glasses and she drinks some from hers*
Well it's fairly simple Wiz. We're bored and want to cause, a bit of an uproar if you wish to put it in Gryffish terms. I think a party is quite-well called for at the moment.
*she continues fiddling with the banner*
So, what do you think?

*Takes a long sip from his Butterbeer glass*
You know me, I'm up for a party any time. But. It needs to be a party with a some sort of a twist ... any ideas?
I've got some stuff *indicates the leather bags in the storage room*, that might come in ... let's say ... handy. It's stuff collected from all over the place during my travels abroad - I've been to India (most interesting Wizard food), America, China (stunning buildings there) and France - you wouldn't believe some of the stuff that our international counterparts come up with.
And we'll need a venue too - or for a last resort you can use my house, I've had the elves do an an extension to the spare chamber upstairs - might come in handy.

Oh oh France! I've been there! C'est la beaute!!!
*resumes her normal state*
Sorry I get particularly excited whenever someone mentions European countries. I just can't get enough of them. ;D
A party with a twist ey? Well for starters I believe we're going to have to kidnap a person or two. You know to bring more people, and just for the fun of it all. I'm sure I have some of Fantan's old banana sacks lying around here somewhere. Or perhaps we should invest in cocoa bags, you know, to go with the house spirit. We can then lecture our victims on the history of chocolate and how important it is in our daily lives.
*stops at the mention of house elves* Wait...did you say that the elves actually worked in here? How long ago? Because it seems like they haven't come up here for ages! *mumbles something about SPEW being such a waste of time and causing lack of hygiene*

Awesome idea - we definitely need a kidnapping, lol - brings back memories of the Dungeon . Lets dig up the old banana sacks - just for the sake of keeping it traditional eh?
*Looks around furtively* Ah yes, house elves - don't let anyone from SPEW hear this - I struck a deal with them to clean up my house and in return I'd make one of the rooms really dirty - which was absolutely great 'cus my bedroom is normally a mess anyway. Maybe we can lure them back up to the Common Room to help out with redecoration.

haha, so if we do take to a kidnapping, where should we stash our vics? brilliant propisition to make; i'm sure they enjoyed that! and i'm sure all it will take is a talk or two with some of the house elves to convince them to come back up here...also, we might have to have them come at a certain time when Miss SPEW, herself, isnt up in the Commons.

Hmmm, interesting question.
How about - we renovate the notorious Dungeon again - this time make it a bit more "characterstic". I'll re-open it as soon as we launch our kidnapping.

That sounds quite fair; but what do you mean by making it more "characteristic"? and can we send our vis on outrageous hunts for chocolate?

Hunts for chocolate - sounds good ... maybe a challenge course??!?
I dunno ... characteristic - I suppose just put a bit of Gryffi-ishness into the design .

Definitely - some torture chambers would be great.
Who to kidnap? one figure from every house I'd say (just like last time - except we don't kidnap Hermy again ). It needs to be timed so that everyone responds pretty quickly ... i.e. weekend - I propose we go for this Sunday evening or next week.
What say you?

OOC: Just a note that due to real life issues, time constraints and time zones, this is going to take longer than a weekend you know that? Best thing to do is hit active RP threads in the other commons, so if need be, we must bring those to life once more, before proceeding or else nobody will reply.
BIC: Oh oh! Chocolate hunts! Chocolate hunts! That should be quite profitable for us. ;D
If we kidnap those tricky Ravens though, can we make it anti-cheese. They might just our whole common room and the last thing we want is more mice. *shudder*

OOC: My apologies, I tend to have bursts of over-activeness sometimes. Sorry..
BIC: We can make a huge stockpile of chocolate in the common room - you never know how useful stuff like that can be.
Definitely NO cheese in the Common Room - we'll have to search 'em for it before we bring them in.
I'll re-open the Dungeon in a couple of days and we can get started - maybe they can give us a hand with re-decorating the Common Room .
