Bah, En. I know that, but I thought it was still amusing.
Oooh, Dawn Treader! That was pretty cool, although Reepicheep reminded me of one of my own mice (Bunky's mum) because he was so gutsy and stuff. And his speech about finding the end of the world made me all teary the first time I read it.

Oh man, me too... and when Eustace was stuck on the beach of the Dragon Island and trying like hell to communicate with Lucy... I was so frustrated I bit all the way through a pencil
Funny rereading it now and having different lines strike me though. I still feel for Eustace in the dragon sequence, and I still get misty about Reepicheep in that little coracle... but this last time I read it, what, like 17 years after the first time I read the books, what really hit me was the line "Not daydreams! Dreams!" and it was like... I didn't know when I was 8 what that meant, you know? I'd had nightmares and weird dreams before, but I still lived on that frontier of life in which so many things are possible and unknown still, so even dark dreams were still something to greet with wonder... do you know what I mean?

My grandma gave me a boxed set of all seven books, and I haven't read them for...oh...two years or so...but I plan to soon. I read them in the order printed on the covers of the books... *grabs box* These seven were printed in the 1970's. There's something to add to my reading agenda...

Go way back to the quote by Pkia (I quoted a quote! Yay for me! ;D)
Quote: The movie is expected to be the first of five films based on Lewis' seven Chronicles of Narnia books, to which Walden holds the film rights.
The first five in one film? They're going to be cutting out a lot of stuff if they plan to do that! I wonder if they're filming the other two, as well...

I think they're making five films out of the seven books. Which, I am guessing, means that the first film covers the first book, but the two Caspian stories (Prince Caspian and The Dawn Treader) might get combined? Or they might leave out The Magician's Nephew and The Horse and His Boy since they're so different from the others. Or they might leave out The Magician's Nephew and The Last Battle so the religious wackos don't burn them

*laughs* Well, only if they salt them first.
I think they could probably do with leaving out Horse and his boy. I mean, you sort of need The Magician's Nephew more than you need H&hB just because MN has more about the whole world of Narnia and stuff, so it's more relevant, and there are the same characters and stuff, but H&hB was just... so out there.
