I guess it's OK if I double post because that post was last year.
Soo, I still haven't started school. Not 'til Monday. I just got a new greenday cd yesterday. I got a lot of cd's in the past 5 weeks. Because there was my birthday, and christmas, and I went to the states and bought some albums, and then late birthday presents, and the one I got yesterday. ;D I'm a complete and total music freak.
I really wish someone would post here, in the random room. It's my favourite thread ever.

I forgot my color code! Gasp!
Eccchhhhhhhhhhhooooooooooooooo!
My CD burner isn't cooperating. I swear it hates me, with a capital 'H.'
Man is this place dead. It weird to be back here posting. It's has been months. We all know that can't be good. Plus I think slowly I've been losing the bit of sanity I once had.
I think I get points for posting. And for writing. I sent Rita a letter. I don't know if she's gotten it yet though.
I watched Phantom of the Opera again today. It's weird how movies can have a different effect on one when you're with a group. *shrugs* It might just be me though.
Happy belated Chinese New Year. I'm not Oriental at all, but it seems to fit today.
And happy soon to be Single Awareness Day. Who came up with that anyhow?
Well I best be off. I'm going to give burning a CD another try.

Oooh I love Phantom of the Opera! I purchased the soundtrack and now I can almost receit the entire movie ;D. I had planned on watching it again but so far I haven't had the time despite being on my summer holiday...
My computer has been inflicted with a virus for the past 2 months so this is like the first time I've actually been online at home since.
Sands, I got your letter and your birthday present - which I kind of bought last year still sitting on my bookshelf. *blush*
It feels very strange posting, though it'd be nice if we could revive this thread.

Lilg! Sands! *waves* Wow, it's great to hear from you two, especially because the board is a bit quiet these days!
Oh, Happy Chinese New Year to everyone as well. If you're born in the year of the rooster it's suggested that this year you wear a jade dragon or horse for good luck. Don't ask my why, but yeah. That's what I've been told.
I really can't type today! So many typos!

I hope this means the revival of this thread and the return of both sands and lilg, 'cause we really miss you guys! well, at least i do. The Phantom of the Opera is a great movie with amazing music... I wanted to watch it again today but they're taken it off every single movie theater in the city. Strange, such an amazing movie.... Single awareness day sucked, as usual. on the other hand, my friend and I have known each other for 20 months today. ;D

What is Single Awareness Day? Geez, they make it sound like a disease or a disability or something.
Gack, I still haven't seen the film version of Phantom! I totally loved the musical as well, although the monkey kinda scared me the first time...

You ever heard of February the 14th? That is Single Awareness Day. It's so un-fun. One of my friends cried 3 times during it, and none of those times was the reason even remotely related to boyfriends and all. She just set her mind up to "Single Awareness Day sucks." But hey, it can't be worse in college than it is in high school, right? So be glad, Sands... scared?

Hey! I just remembered my code! It just flowed from my fingers onto the screen. It must be one of those things you can only do without thinking. It's the same with my locker, when I stop to think about the combination I just end up confused.
Present! Lilgy-bean! I'm touched. *tear* Never mind that it'll be my birthday again in a few months. I'm getting so old!
*waves!!!*
*hand falls off from so much waving* !
Enough joking on my behalf.
It's nice to be here, kind of reminds me of past times.
I went to the bookstore last Saturday to reserve my copy of the Half Blood Prince. I must say it seems like just last week I was falling asleep at the bookstore waiting for the Order of the Phoenix.
*shrugs* I really haven't been feeling holidays so I can't say much about Valentine's Day.
Single Awareness Day= Valentine's Day Hope that helps you Ko.

It's nice to have you here. ;D
what do you mean you havent felt holidays? and, don't they give people options to give stupid presents at your school? They do at mine. It's so strange. Last year, my friends and I sent an anonymous postcard to my friend Luis that said silly things like his hair was so sexy. he never knew it was us.

I mean I just haven't felt the holidays. Like Christmas felt like any other day, not a holiday. I forgot it was Valentines until I got to school and saw a guy sitting next to his car trying to arrange a bouquet of flowers. I guess they must have been for his girlfriend. *shrugs* I don't think I can really explain my not feeling holidays. It's not that I don't like them, or that I'm bitter, I just can't get in the mood for them. Let's just say they feel like normal days.
I’m in the mood for an apple...

You know what? I understand, I felt like that this Christmas too. Makes me feel so old. And I really don't care much for Valentine's...
On another note, I got my yearbook picture taken today. And I drank water straight from a river. It was so cool and different.

Yearbooks! My yearbook picture looks awful. I really don't understand why. My senior year, I finally get a decent school ID picture and yet it won't be the one going into the yearbook. My senior portraits sucks. On the other hand I could talk about yearbooks forever. I'm on my school's yearbook staff. I'll be happy once the yearbook is finished.
Lilgy-bean! Remember how you said you wanted a copy of my yearbook. I have an extra copy of last year's yearbook. I'll see if I can get an extra one this year though... but it would cost a small fortune to have it shipped to Australia.... we'll see I guess. Or I could save it for a future date.... actually I shouldn't make any promises yet.
Not sure if drinking water from a river is sanitary....

Yeah, I think my pictures sucked too... but there's not much I can do about that. and... silly people, they'll probably have a whole special section for us IB kids.
well, I'm not sure either... but my friend said she'd done it before, and it looked clean... I hope I don't get sick.

Hey sands! (Did you have to THINK about your code for those last few posts? ) You know, you could always just send the interesting pages of your yearbook to lilg. I don't know how you'd interpret "interesting pages" but there you go.
Uh, nicks, you shouldn't drink from rivers. Even if they look clean, because the bacteria and stuff are really little and wouldn't affect the appearance of the water. But it sounds like you're ok and everything so yeah.

I forget things sometimes. It really has been a long time since I was here for a substantial amount of time.
Things that will never change: -Me being addicted to Friends -Me being forgetful
Guess what Lilgy-bean! Earlier this week I found a letter in an envelope addressed and stamped. I was sure I had mailed it to you, but apparently I didn't. Maybe our letters will meet halfway. *rolls eyes* We have only ourselves to blame....
I wouldn't drink the water... maybe if it was from the Alps, but under normal circumstances I wouldn't. I just think the world is too polluted for "fresh water" to be safe.
*heart attack* !!! Disassemble the yearbook! *shock* Ok, maybe I am a bit too dramatic. I could never bring myself to do that. All I would be able to think able is the agonizing hours before sunrise I spent in front of a computer fixing errors, the frustration of misplacing prints, the anxiety before a deadline, the overwhelming aggravation of naming a nameless face.....
Online thesauruses are not good.
