Neko, I think a lot of people use www.photobucket.com to host their pictures. (I just started using it recently, too, because my previous host found out I was direct linking, which apparently isn't allowed. ) You can't make a website with them, but you can create an account, upload photos, and direct link.

I have a small problem that i hope someone here can help me with, because i'm absolutely stumped.
I can't get to another one of the forums i lurk in. Everytime I punch in the web addy, i get this error message, after about 2 minutes of loading-
"ERROR The requested URL could not be retrieved
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While trying to retrieve the URL: dime32.dizinc.com/~russmus
The following error was encountered:
Connection Failed The system returned:
(110) Connection timed outThe site you are trying to connect to may be down. This could be a network issue which will be resolved shortly. This could also mean that their is no webserver at the location you are trying to access. Please try the request again if you are sure you have the correct address and the remote webserver is up.
Please contact TPG <---(my ISP) Helpdesk or the cache administrator and quote your dialup/ADSL location and IP address if you feel this error is incorrect. If you are reporting this error to the cache administrator you must include this entire error message in your email. Without the correct details we may be unable to resolve your issue."
Before you ask, the URL is correct. That was the first thing i checked Just thought i'd get someone elses opinion before i bothered the helpdesk. I've tried clearing all my cookies and IE Temp files, but to no avail. I've spoken with the website admin since, and she assures me my IP hasn't been blocked in any way by her or any of the other mods. I haven't been able to access the site for about a week, but it works fine on other computers and no other sites give me this problem............
Anyone? I'm at my wits end here!
Z.

That site works on my computer, too. I don't know...maybe check your privacy level under Options?

Check that your internet settings connect is set on medium. If you have any virus software running check that it has not blocked you from viewing that website, if it has the computer will try and connect to the site but time out because the anti virus has denied the access.

Neko, if you still need a basic website, i suggest www.piczo.comi has a basic drag-and-drop way to create the site. just dont type in "pizco"... ends up on an adult "art" site..

I'm having a problem with Windows Media Player...
I recently tried downloading WMP 11, but I didn't like it so I switched back to WMP 10. But I lost a bunch of my visualizations. Does anyone know how to get them back?? Specifically, I used to have more Battery visualizations, and now I only have one (Randomization).
Can anyone help?

I've looked at that site before, but I'm actually looking for the old visualizations, not WMP 11 ones. Are there any sites that have the old ones available for downloading?

While we're at it, anyone know why WMP 10 and 11 and RealPlayer all produce audio for me when I'm viewing trailers at IMDB, but no images? I hate listening in the dark
