Strolling down Lytter Alley you're overcome by a wonderfully delicous smell wafting from somewhere nearby. Following your nose you son find a tiny restaurant tucked away in a nook between two larger shops.
You step inside and hear a crow squawk which brings out a girl in a chef's hat. She grins at you and winks knowingly.

It's decorative, it's writing very sutbly shifting through a rainbow of colours as you read it.For Your Tasting Pleasure We Enthusiastically Present To You A FREE RECIPE! Bird's NestsSERVES 6 6 eggs, hard boiled flour, seasoned with salt and paprika 1 leek, chopped 10ml/2tsp sunflower oil 115g/4 oz/2 cups fresh bread crumbs grated rind and juice of one lemon 50g/2 oz/half cup shredded suet 60ml/4 tsp parsley 5ml/1 tsp dried thyme salt and ground black pepper 1 egg, beaten 75g/3 oz/half cup dried bread crumbs oil, for deep frying lettuce and tomato slices
1. Peel the hard boiled eggs and toss in the seasoned flour
2. Fry the leeks in a little oil for about 3 minutes. Remove, cool, then mix with the fresh breadcrumbs, lemon rind and juice, suet, herbs and seasoning. If the mixture is a little dry add a little water.
3. Shape the mixture around the eggs, then toss first into the beaten egg, then the dried breadcrumbs. Set aside on a plate to chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
4. Pour enough oil to fill one-third of a deep fat fryer and heat to a tempurature of 190 degrees celcius/375 degrees farenhiet, and fry the eggs, three at a time, for about 3 minutes. Rmove and drain on kitchen paper towel.
