Woo! New tennis balls! you're right, that smell is great... it's special and it cannot be confused, it's... unique.
Life is great because 2 of my friends come back from holiday tomorrow, which also happens to be the day I get the stitches removed, so we might all go somewhere on wednesday =).

Life is great today because it's one of those really good lazy days when you can sit around and do nothing or whatever you want. And I got to sleep in. ;D

Life is great today because me and Alex were talking last night and we've decided that we're going to move out on our own together rather than living in share house because our relationship has just been getting better and better. ;D
I'm realy excited. It's going to be so much fun!

Life is great because I got a job, I just finished re-reading Harry Potter, and the temperature is down.

I feel the same way SP does. There isn't any "greatest" thing that ever happened to me, it's just a bunch of moments that make me happy occasionally. Like a warm evening spent with my friends in a pub, chatting and behaving weirdly. Spending hours and hours talking to a good friend about personal issues I wouldn't discuss with anyone else. A good movie, a good song, a good laugh, a good friend, a good gulp of fresh air.
Lianne, changing schools also made a huge difference on me. My trust was broken for the second time on my old school, I was starting to feel like an outsider again, I spent all my time alone and people called me stuff (which was stupid since they were 16 year olds and not 12 year olds anymore, like the people who bullied me for the first time were). So I changed. And it was great, because I felt accepted for the first time and I'm glad to say that those same people who accepted me are the very same good friends I have nowadays that make me feel so good. The other day I was feeling really shitty because of IRL issues that don't matter here, but just seeing them and being with them made me feel so whole, I can't explain it. They weren't even saying anything special, it was a very quiet evening. I just know I started laughing to disguise the tears.

friends are the most inspiring people you will ever meet.
i love my friends. i have finally found the people i love to be with now that i have finished my first year in university. i never used to hang out with people inthe summer. i just never felt like i wanted to see anyone. But i see them all the time now and i love feeling that they might actually want me around. My best friend is the most awesome person i know. we can be stupid together or talk about anything, or sit and discuss course work and it will always be a good time.
today my grandma brought out T-Bone steaks. That made the day so much better.
I also am in the process of cleanign my room out. Moving things, hiding other things. I love cleaning like that, i dont like to clean unless i get the whole deal lol.
but i feel better now that my room is cleaner

Life is great right now because...
A) I had a broken jaw which required surgery and I can finally eat steak and meat again ( only took 6 weeks )
B)when I did break my jaw and all my friends sat outside the emergency room on deck chairs for like 5 hours it sort of made me realise just how awesome my friends were and how much they cared...Ive been on a bit of a high since then

Life's great right now because finally I can separate dreams from real life. Meaning, ever since I can remember, when I had a disturbing dream about someone who scarred me in the past, I'd feel sad for the rest of the day. I've been having that sort of dream for about two nights now and I wake up in a good mood, although the dreams aren't happy at all. That makes my days. It makes me feel that I control my own self again, which is good.
And I've been realising that I'm pretty good on my own, and that I don't need anyone's opinion or criticism to improve as a person. That's good too, right?

life is great because school starts tomorrow. I'm a nerd. no seriously... it's great because at school, I can see ALL of my friends, 5 times a week, and because we stay up 'til 3 am "doing homework" which means talking on msn while trying to figure out the answer to something, and all that is great.
life is also great because I found my blue sunglasses. Everything looks blue-ish with them.

life is great because tennis practice starts soon, although i don't like the smell of fresh tennis balls as some of you. Life is also great 'cause i thought i had strep so i went to the hospital today, and the military doctors said my throat was so sore and my ears and nose were clogged due to post-nose-drainage--not strep! strep sucks. but i don't have it!! but my throat still hurts. Life is great as well because i've got a wonderful place like this (TD2) to immerse myself in when things get me down--a little getaway for a period of time. the HP books are also like that for me. i used to have a cockatiel and i took his tail feather when SS first came out, broke an ink pen and wrote with the feather in school til my teacher took it away.

Lol, that's awesome! I didn't go so far... I went to Paris once and I bought a feather with small bottles of ink with different colours. It's not handy at all but it's cool. I think I wrote part of a letter with it to Lianne, I guess. Or was it Rubes?

lol, that sucks that your teacher took it away! life is great because i finished my theory of knowledge essay and I finally sent it to my teacher... I hope it's a good essay. It better be. I worked on it on and off all summer. also, life is great because I have at least one class with all my friends, and because I don't change rooms all day, they all come to me

Or was it Rubes? you talk to other trapdoorians outside of TD? phooey. i don't. i'm not sure why, either. hasn't there been a TD convention where everyone in a certain area met? or am i just imagining things?

No convention yet, but little groups of people have met up, but not for a LONG time that I know of. Like Nierme and Andy Bolton met up in Australia, Nialle and Suzy Prongs went on a road trip and met Chris and Luna Valentine and then Rue and Gen, Fox and Calavera went to England and met Jameson. There hasn't been one big convention as yet (since most of us probably wouldn't be able to afford the airfares) but that would be really cool if it happened. When I go to the US I'm planning to do a TD tour or something while I'm there in my holidays.
