Yeah, I'm in America. That's not what makes it great though, because a lot of us aren't actually from here! But yeah, it's pretty cool. I made friends with two Swedish guys and a German guy and we're going on a road trip to Niagra Falls for Labor Day. ;D
The Philosopher's Drinking Song is hilarious, if you like Monty Python and can put up with a bunch of atonal guys singing it like 100 times a day.

I quite like Monty Python but a drinking song a 100 times a day? It seems a bit much.
That is soo cool that you got to go to America.
Whats wrong with the dorm? Has it got a leaking roof?
I'm going on holiday tommorow and i start my second year at university in two weeks. ;D
I would love to go to Niagra falls.
In Ireland there is an American university so maybe you could check out their website.

Cool! Li, where would you be moving to?
Life is great today because I'm doing work (which, surprisingly is great) and it's a nice day and I might actually get this presentation done in time for my class.

Yeah Ice, it was really weird and random and we were sitting around and then someone was like, "hey, wanna play frisbee?" and so we did!
I think American University is based in Washington DC, but I'm not sure. Actually, their website is here: www.american.edu/index1.html
Good luck with the play Ice!
Life is good today because... well, I've just moved into my apartment, the people in the philosophy department are awesome and short of having to start writing papers, it's been a good week all around.

Life is good because I have wonderful things to look forward to!!!
First of all, I got a role in the French play, No Exit. There are only four characters so I guess you would call it a lead role...
I got called back for the role of Maria from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night! Auditions tomorrow! Wish me luck!
I am going to be the Assistant Stage Manager for our Fall Play, To Kill a Mockingbird and I am also the "scenic artist"! I'm so happy because I got to play with paint today!
Finally... I'm looking forward to that trip down to Cal Poly in Nov. I want to go to that school so bad...

Congrats Will! Chookas for your audition tomorrow as well. Ahhh, I was once an ASM (which also entailed child/animal wrangling) but not for anything half as cool as Mockingbird. We did Little Shop of Horrors (in cartoon fashion) a couple of years ago at my university theatre company. That was cool. But yeah, good luck with your theatre stuff!

(which also entailed child/animal wrangling) Haha, I'll bet it did. Animals too, you say? Wow... that's pretty cool though. I'm kind of scared because I'm most likely going to be stage right ASM and that's like the hell zone. The traffic is horrid on stage right. But I'm still excited and, besides, it's a good challenge.
Ah well, thanks for the best wishes, Neko! I'll do my best.

Yeah, for some reason we had dogs (no, that wasn't Little Shop, it was some other show we did) and all they had to really do was follow this girl across the stage or something... the rehearsals were pretty funny now come to think of it. And we also had lambs and stuff when we did an Oklahoma! medley thing once, since we couldn't bring in other farm animals. But yeah, I would seriously work with animals over children, because kids are really hard to control.
