LOL! Oh dear, well I guess you know you could have a side business on top of your bookselling business I wish The Haunted Bookshop were closer to home. I'd be a willing laughee of your puppet show

Ahh! I remember the puppets!! I never got to see the show though, but I remember the puppets on the hatstand, and the scarves and the piano... but that was at the old place. I'm sure the new place is even more amazing!
Oh hey, remember the bookworm thing that you got some of us to do? What happened to that?

I found a few of them, but the rest of the book circles are still hiding from me
There are TD things all over the shop, though. For example, my office is plastered with pictures you lot mailed me, and some of the gifts you've given me have pride of place hereabouts - I still take my tea from the lovely huge mug Rue gave me, I wear purple pyjamas Gen got me on pyjama days, and though I wore through the bottom of half the pair of toe socks you sent me, the other one now covers a bookend so that the bookend won't scratch any book covers and so that I can giggle privately at the thought of toasty Dumbledore toes poking out between books
Oh! and the mix CDs. One of the Carbon Leaf ones Calantha made me is a favourite with all the staff here; they play it a lot on Saturdays, when the record store next door is closed.

As one of the few that was an "adult" back in the day, it is really cool to see how much you've all grown up, and that you are still the funny, nutty kids inside that made this such a fun place to obsess over Harry Potter. So, while I've gotten a bit older then I was then, my life has probably changed less significantly than yours. Still married, still have dogs, still work for the school system. On an exciting note, I live 40 minutes or less from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios and I've been 5 times already. I was at the grand opening in my quidditch robes! o.O Tons of fun to read back over the stuff we did here, like the story contests. So great to hear from you all.

And... it's gotten all quiet here again. I don't know how I feel about reviving this place and then letting it fade off again. :/

Meh yeah it's sad. But at the same time I guess we've all grown (some of us were real grown-ups already even back then) and with that come more and more responsibilities and less time.
In a way the good thing about the facebook thing is that it allows you to see updates, if you use facebook frequently that is.

Correlation between the holidays (and free time) and posting, maybe? Then again, I'm just off in terms of timing because of teaching.
Meh, Feb. is always the worst! It's in the midst of the long winter...I alone blame that for a lack of productivity. ;-)
