There is less the a trickle though these hollowed trenches I mean, look at the year book. I would be suprised if 10% of those member still visited. Recruiment, Renewal.. Redraft Am I right?

It's something we've been working on, but current members are busy with various things and tend not to have as much time for the board as they once did, meaning the board looks a little too quiet when new people drop by. But we're working on it...

I don't know, I've been getting a bunch of ghost sightings around this site lately. And by that I mean we've got old members who seem to be dropping by to see what is going on around the board these days, but they don't post anything and the only way I know they're there is because you can see that there are people logged on.
IF I AM DESCRIBING YOU, SAY HELLO SO WE REALLY KNOW YOU'RE THERE!!

Hello
I'm trying to make a definite comeback, now that I'm on holidays and I have plenty more time. In December, I was given a laptop with portable broadband connections, but one morning I thought it was a good idea to have breakfast with the laptop switched on and ended up spilling milk all over the keyboard. It started to work funny, some keys didn't work at all. I then thought that maybe if I used a hair dryer to dry the keyboard, things would get back to normal. What happened? The Ctrl key melted. So then the laptop had to go to its factory, in Spain, to get repaired: a new keyboard. And I only got it now. So I've been with no Internet whatsoever for six months, and no means to come here and check on you guys. But now I'm here.
This is one of those times when growing up sucks. When I was in highschool I was here all the time; all the time in the world, a couple of tests here and there but I didn't really worry that much. That happened with every other member too, although Ko, En and Nie already were at Uni, and some of them actually graduated then. But the majority of us were still in highschool without a care in this world. Then, the first one was Rubes. Went to college and to the arms of his beloved Accountancy and we completely lost sight of him, most unfortunately, I dare say. I'm currently going through my old stuff and I found some of the letters we exchanged and I really miss those times (Ko, I also found some pics you sent ). Then each of us got busier and busier, with growing responsabilities; the normal ones that come as we grow old, I suppose. Free time has grown rare. I went to study far away from home, up North, with no connection to the outside world, so... :/
But it's great what you're doing. The Topsite Clicks idea was great!

I've had this nagging feeling the past couple of times I've been online that I've been forgetting something. It finally hit me earlier today. I've been working on updating my LJ journal. I was checking that out and suddenly I remembered.
I didn't mean to forget, it just slipped. It's been hard to be active when the activity levels have been low in general. I always say I'll work on it, but I actually want to come through. I'll see if I can work on posting a bit more.
P.S. It's nice to see you guys here too. I don't want to have a falling out with this place. It's weird because as Rita said, our lives have changed so much from those earlier days. I remember coming on here to post a bit, but having the real conversations on MSN. Those were always interesting with Lilg and Loz. Wow, that was years ago. I'm reminiscing now. I’d also like to add that this place helped me out. Who knows how different my life might have been. And now I’m going off into tangents.
Hehehe. Who knows how many Hotmail accounts I've had to keep MSN Messenger. I always forget to "check my e-mail" on Hotmail and end up having my account closed.
