Now I am officaily confussed. Why weren't you guys accepted Koneko, What did they do Am I being nosy? (Kit(?) You did spam quite a lot though) THey are my friends and all I can see for them is hufflepuff. And why are you trying to push them away? Aren't more members always good? The other houses are right on our tails you know. Any way what ever the reason, I hope you guys will do better now and not spam any more.

Rue and I came to the decision. We are not trying to push anyone away. We are not obliged to accept everyone who applies for our house but we have already said that you can reapply if you want- there's nothing against that.
Yes, we did take into account the fact that there was spam involved, but that doesn't mean that you don't get a second chance. And you have reapplied again, so in due time we'll have another look at your applications.
If you hvae a problem with this, please bring it up with me personally.

Thanks for looking at the spam rules again, Hisui. ;D Most people just ignore them.
There are a lot of people who apply for Hufflepuff for really weird and obscure reasons. Either they think it's the easiest house to get into, or they think we're most leniant with the rules, or whatever. And because of that, it's hard to sort through the applicants to find out who actually wants to be in Hufflepuff for a valid reason.
You're right; we did notice very borderline spam posts, but not spamming is something that'll start to come naturally to you sooner or later as long as you know what not to do. But by reapplying, and this is why we let people know they have the option of reapplying, we look more closely at all of your posts and why you want to be in Hufflepuff so badly. It also gives us more time to evaluate whether or not you're learning your way around the board better.
So please don't take this as an insult, okay? It's just a way for us to get to know you better. We're already looking back at your applications to see if you've improved and to check if we made any mistakes while looking at your applications before.

I have a question. it is only considered spam if you post twice in a row on the same day, right? i mean, if i posted one day, and came on the next day and no one had posted, could i still post there?

Um, the rules about that sort of change depending on the discussion in the thread and things... Most of the time people don't care if you wait a whole day before posting again, but I think the rule is technically two weeks. You don't have to wait that long, but try to give other people a day or two to reply in case they want to, k?

Technically, unless it's like one if the song/quote threads, you should give the thread some time before posting in it again. At least a week. This is because if you want to add anything else it's still easy to modify your post and still have people read it. But if the thread has been inactive for about a week it then slips down the page towards the bottom so it's not as bad if you are trying to get the thread active again, but you MUST and I mean MUST have soemthing new to say. Repeatign yourself twice in a row is spam.

Alright, so, I like, updated the Birthday list. I hasn't been touched for yonks! Anyway, I'll be needing years of birth as well for Fujiko, Fico and Keiko (haha, try saying that fast twenty times ), if you don't mind. (Or you could make it up, like Robin did. :

I would very much like to be a member of Hufflepuff.. I promise to try my best to weigh in every week...and will not spam nor flame my brother and sister Trap Door members. I will add to the list as much as possible....and I promise to behave, tho we all know that well behaved women rarely make history... guinevere
