wow, I didn't know juice in cans was such an American thing! And Rue, you're exactly right in your description, and with the picture as well. Just frozen condensed juice that you stick in a pitcher and add water:) Depending on how much water you add can depend on how watery or condensed the flavor is.

Wow... juice in cans... what will they think of next? *shakes head*
I mean, we have fresh juice in the bottles and cartons and stuff, and you can also get cordial, which is like a fruit-flavoured drink (usually with like 5 or 10% fruit juice) and those come in bottles as well, and you mix those with water. But is the juice in cans like, real fruit juice? That's really cool.

*looks in IRL freezer* Blast, we don't have any, or I'd read the ingredients off for you. I think it's real fruit juice for the most part, combined with sugar and whatever stuff they make. It's just super concentrated, and frozen, and it just comes in cans that are convenient to store in the freezer and such. Oh! And welches came out with ones that aren't frozen, and you do the same thing with adding water and stuff. I'm doing a few errands tomorrow, so I'll have to take note to go to a grocery store and check out the ingredients in the frozen cans for you guys:)

Okay, so it's not like... a can of Sprite or something. I don't know, drinks in cans here are always either soft drinks or... coffee.

KoNeko, are you joking? Coffee in cans? Like... you just open up a can, like a can of Sprite, only it's coffee?
Okay, some people here do have juice in cans that are like Sprite. Like, you just open up a can and drink the juice from it. Some people even make carbonated fruit drinks, which they put in cans or bottles, and those taste kinda funky.

Not as common in Australia, but in Asia, you get coffee in little cans. They're like, iced coffee that you get in cartons and stuff, but only in cans. They're about the size of the cans that you get on the plane and stuff, you know those little single serve ones? They're not carbonated or anything, and they come in different flavours and roasts and stuff as well. I don't particularly like coffee, so I don't like them.

hmm...the only thing similar to coffee in a can that I've heard of are Frappaccinos (pardon my spelling), but that's chilled coffee in a glass bottle. The only kind of coffee I'm partial to is French Vanilla cappuccino. But I agree with rue, that's way cool about coffee in cans!
There are some drinks that look like just carbonated water, because it's clear, but it's flavored strawberry kiwi or orange or something like that. They're supposed to be "naturally flavored" hence why there's no coloring in the water, and those taste kind of different.

Is that like Snapple? I could drink that stuff all day... *is obsessed with strawberry/kiwi snapple, and grape snapple, and pink lemonade snapple...*
Oh! A frappacino (spelling?!) is like, an iced coffee, right? Like watery milky coffee that comes prepackaged and you drink it cold? We have these things called Frappes (with an accent on the e) as well, but they're gross, they're like frappacinos but icy like a nasty milky slurpee.

Ooh, frappacino....I would die for one of those. Starbucks makes these really delicious ones...it's like coffe, cream, flavoring (chocolate, vanilla, mocha, carmel, etc.) and ice, swirled in a blender and topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. *drools* Man, I love those things...I always get Mocha. ;D

Eww, coffee. I prefer hot chocolate, even though coffee ice cream is seriously on my list of top ten ice cream flavors.
The weird carbonated clear drinks that are "naturally flavored" are kind of freaky. They have these labels on the side that say things like, "No fat; No sugar; No calories" and it sort of makes you wonder how they got the fruit flavor in there. It's like they're trying to market it as a product that is as healthy as water, only better tasting... even though they taste sort of funky too. I just like my plain old apple juice or whatever much better than this weird stuff.

I tried Starbuck's french vanilla cappucino, and nearly gagged. The beans tasted burned, and it was just nasty. So when I do occasionally get coffee, I just stick to the stuff that you get at gas stations. Man, now I've gone and started craving one, lol.
I agree with Rue, though, nothing beats plain old applejuice! *eyes light up* I just remembered I have some in the fridge still IRL....mmm

Yeah, apple juice is good. Apple and strawberry juice is better. I like juice. I'm not a big fan of soft drink, and my parents never really got it for us when we were kids (because they said it would rot our teeth) so we drank a lot of juice.
But as for coffee... I'm so much more a tea person. Or hot chocolate. Recently I've been drinking more coffee lately (it's like, a philosopher thing to do apparently ) but I don't really like the taste. I like eating the foam and chocolate sprinkles on cappacinos though. ;D

*loves ribena* Oh, we used to get cordial as well when we were kids, but my mum always watered it down too much. But you know, if you made a snow-cone or something, you tip the undiluted cordial onto the top of it and that's yummy.
