ribena and cordial? Those are two words I'm not familiar with...
*laughs at ko's comment about eating the foam and chocolate sprinkless off the cappucino* Yeah, I'd probably do the same thing if it tasted nasty to me

Let's see, Ribena is this purple blackcurrant drink thing and it's really sweet and yumbo, and usually it's in cordial form (i.e. concentrated liquid (but not reconstituted fruit juice) which you dilute at home and stuff) so yeah. There you go.
Oh! I found this place that serves teeny little espresso cups of... just frothed milk and sprinkles!! And you can get either the chocolate sprinkles or the rainbow sprinkles as well... it's called a babycino and (you can't tell how old I am, can you ) the novelty didn't wear off until about 5 cups later. ;D

I don't know, that's basically what it (Ribena) is, right? Emma, do you guys get the carbonated ribena drinks in England as well?
Um, well the babycinos aren't really coffee at all, it's just the cup of frothy hot milk and sprinkles like, the stuff on top of the cappucinos that kids eat. So I guess there was a demand from mothers with kids eating the tops of their cappucinos or something like that for those.

And Ribina...hmm, sounds interesting:)

Oh, Ribena is so scrummy. I could drink it all day. It's just unnaturally reddish-purple.
*stretches* Anyway, you know what really annoys me? You know when you want mixed juice, right, like apple and strawberry or something, and they give you like, 90% apple and 10% strawberry or something... so it doesn't even taste like strawberries... (This happened to me this morning so I'm just ranting)

oh I know! Or they list all these flavors that the drink is supposed to have in it, but it doesn't taste new. Like Grape, Kiwi Strawberry. Except I only seem to taste strawberry, just like with kiwi strawberry as well. I mean, what is kiwi supposed to taste like? I really have no clue, because all I taste is strawberry.
Ko, my dear, you have unraveled another of the world's biggest mysteries.

Soups, you should be able to get babycinos where you live... they might go by another name though. Or you can ask for an espresso cup of frothed milk with sprinkles... it should cost too much, about 50c to a dollar (Aussie, so maybe like, 35-75c US?!) because there's no coffee in it at all.
Hahaha Smiles, what mystery was that? The "what is Ribena" one? Or the ranty fruit juice one?

*goes to coffee*
Hey, I could just eat cappucino froth all day, but not drink the coffee. And apparently it's bad for you because coffee (and other caffienated things) leach calcium out of your bones if you have more than 2 a day...

heh, yeah, never tasted kiwi. I'm...a picky person. I don't expand my horizons much when it comes to fruit and vegetables, but perhaps in the near future I'll try a kiwi just for you, because you said it was really good.

Hang on, which kind of kiwi fruit are you talking about? There are green kiwis (the regular kind) and gold ones (which are supposed to be sweeter and therefore more expensive). Kiwi fruit has a weird taste, if you ask me, but then again, the seeds make my tongue itchy so I don't eat them all that often...
Soups, what's your favourite fruit then?
