Bwahaha! No, it's James Joyce, and that's not something I like about how I look -- I look like him Sometime I should dig out those old photos for you. There was this unutterably creepy moment when I finally found a copy of Giacomo Joyce, Jim's rarest book, and there was a photo of him playing the guitar. And the guitar, the expression on his face, the features on his face, even the way the light fell on his eyelids were exactly like a picture my friends had taken of me playing the guitar

*dies* Alas, no, I look like a destitute, arrogant Irish expatriate novelist whose last and greatest novel is almost completely unintelligible to people who don't speak more than four languages.
...Mind you, I have every intention of being an expatriate American novelist when I grow up, but I'll skip the rest if I can
I've also been told I look like a grasshopper.
Anyone else had people compare you to surprising other people/creatures/etc.?

Its got about four different shades in it such as really light blond then it goes to brown and darker brown and a kind of reddish colour. Why does this happen? You planning on moving to ireland then En?

Hahaha, when I played hockey and stuff, I used to get told that I "run like a cartoon character" and I looked like Astro Boy () and stuff when I had shorter hair.
I don't look like anyone famous. There aren't enough famous Asian people to compare me to.

Yeah, Natz... the minute I can, I'm going to Galway... *sigh* Wednesday? Really? Lumers has the hair and the big dark eyes, but her face isn't that round. She looks more like... anyone seen The Neverending Story? She looks like Bastian would have looked if he were a tall, slim girl
Ahahaha! Drew Barrymore! Actually, of all the girl Hollywood stars, I probably look most like her See, bet we are related, at least back a few generations.
*tries to think of whom Koko resembles* Um... got me. I'm blanking on Asian film stars. The only one I can get a mental picture of is Kelly Hu

*scrunches up face* Geez, I don't even know who Kelly Hu is. The only other one I can think of is Lucy Liu at the moment, and I don't look like her (she has freckles, which is really quite rare on Asian people) and the cast of Crouching Tiger... Maybe I need to be famous so that I can say that I look like KoNeko.

*rolls her eyes* You work on that, En. ;D
Ooh, yes KoNeko! you have to become famous and then I can be all like "I knew her before she was a celeb!" and then you can send me autographs, one to keep and one to sell on ebay for a ridiculously high sum of money.
Same goes for you En, when you become the next J.R.R. Tolkien. ;D I am absolutely serious, the both of you.

I've known people who say I remind them of a young Nicole Kidman...but I can't see it at all. Our faces aren't the same and she certainly is not as freckle-y as I am. So, on the whole, I don't really think I look like a celeb at all although my parents do call me "the little red-head girl" from Charlie Brown.

Kelly Hu = Lady Deathstrike. Guess what I've been watching lately?
Yeah, about freckles. Cho Chang has them too. What's up with that? I had a friend in high school who had a mole on one arm, and her family were all freaked out about it... they were sure it had to be cancerous since Asian people don't usually just randomly get moles It was just a mole, of course.
I get the impression you have Nicole Kidman-esque colouring, Cal, so maybe that's it... I mean, someone said I look like Gwyneth Paltrow once, and it could only have been the colouring -- we are very much the same colour, just on completely different faces and bodies

Some people have told me I look like Mandy Moore when she was in her bubblegum phase (a.k.a. right around the release of her first CD). I've also gotten that I look like "that girl from Everwood," which means nothing to me because I've never seen the show
