Last night, I had a very very disturbing dream. So, I was at my house and it was that erie kind of stuck in your past sorta light, where it has an orange tint, you know what I'm talking about? So I get into my car, which is normally like a salmon color, but now its like army green, and I drive down the road to my house with my friend who moved to new hampshire last year...and so we're driving, and we're listening to that song "war" and like these planes start to fly over us and then my house got blown up! Like right before my eyes, and so I started to cry and I was still driving, and then suddenly I was on the outer loop of D.C...and all these things were getting blown up and people were shooting at us, and I looked over and my friend was dead, and I tried to wake her up, and I knew I had to get her to the hospital, so I got off the loop, and then I found this hospital where I used to live, and it was being occupied by troops, and they wouldn't let me in with my friend, so I kept on driving and everywhere I went was the same thing and then I was in Kansas and they told me to go home, and then I woke up.
*shivers* I hate dreams like that.

Ick. I hate dreams like that, Cal. I used to have dreams like that when I was little when I'd wake up crying.
Last night I had a dream that I was in a house with yellow walls (completely unfamiliar to me, by the way) and I was walking around, speaking to people about finding red cue balls (like, the ones used in snooker and stuff). The weird thing was that whenever I found one, it would flash in front of my eyes and then disappear into the corner of my vision with the number of cue balls I had found, like in a video game. It was weird as.

I have discovered that I have way too many dreams. Last night I had at least five and I can remember each one.
But I had this one where my parents were taking me and Gen to a Counting Crows concert. They were driving and at first we drove to Georgia, then Florida, then some island (driving the whole time). We kept trying to find where they were playing.
So then Gen was driving, and I looked out the back window and saw this black SUV whcih I knew was following us. I said, "Turn Left!" and she went into this development of houses, and the SUV followed. So she caught on and did things like turning on her right turn signal, then turning the opposite way.
So we're driving down a road in the development, and the SUV's gaining on us, and we can't drive fast enough, so I turn to Gen and say, "This is a dream. That's why we can't drive fast enough." And by using my willpower I made the car speed up a lot and we left the SUV in the dust.

Wow, that takes skill to do that. At least that is what I read in an article.
For me, I can sometimes realize if it's a dream. Especially if it really scary or bizarre. When I do, I am able to wake myself you from the dream, but nothing more.

Last night I stayed at this monastary place, and I ended up having a dream about a rose garden and I pricked myself on one of the thorns, and when the drop of blood hit the ground it because a really beautiful lake, with all this greenery. It was probably the best dream I've had in awhile. Maybe my surroundings are making me dream differently. Like, I was at home during my other dream, this time I was in the middle of nowhere...
I don't know.

Cal, that sounds all symbolic and stuff. Very cool.
So me being the geek that I am, I found this dream interpreter thing. It's on www.bored.com or freakydreams.com. See which one works. Anyway, this is what I found that yours meant:Words like rose: Beauty. Goodness. Perfection. Something is working very well for you. Words like garden: Big happiness. Inner self .Suitable time to pursue love affairs. Words like thorns: Sharp. Pain. Discomfort. Afraid to go through the pain of ending something. Words like blood: Essence. Life energy. Unfortunate love affairs. Severe disappointment. Words like lake: Contained emotions. Sense of tranquility or peace. Conformable with present state. So, does that make anything more clear?

Wow! Thanks Gabi! Actually, it does make sense...sort of...well, not in a clear cut way, but in a very dream-state way...anyways, thanks!
*thinks*
Some of them contradict themselves, but somehow, it works out.

This is only a little part of my dream. It is also all of what I can clearly remember.
Anyway, I'm at home and I'm holding a wand. I step out side and I start saying little charms and spells. Sparks fly out of my wand and I can still remember seeing bushes grow larger from the charms. But then the wand stops working. I look at the wand and realized that part of the wand is broken. Before I woke up, I remember trying to fix it...
Oh, I actually have a dream dictionary that I can use, but I can't seem to find it right now. Therefore, I'll take a look at those sites. Thanks Gabi!

Hmmm. I get bits of dreams all the time. I remember this one image from when I was little, and it's of a closed front door (white) of a house with two windows on either side. I'm stading on the inside of the door, and there's light coming in through the windows but they're stained a golden sort of yellow, so it's not a bright light coming through. On the right windowsill there's one of those bobbing head dog things. It's pale yellow (tan) with a brown collar around its neck.
I have no idea what happened in the dream, I just remember the dog and the yellow windows.

Yes, that happens to me too.
Well, last night I had I dream that I was in my house. However, I realized after I woke up that the house I was in was much too big. It was a very huge house with beautiful bathrooms and rooms. That is not the kind of house I live in. It was very strange, but also very delighting. I had a whole room to myself! When I was in my dream, it really felt like I was in my house...

I had this really, really weird dream last night.
I dreamed that the MegaTokyo bag I had ordered had finally been delivered to me adn I was really, really excited about it (you have the be a MT fan to understand). Anyway, I opened up the parcel and pulled out the bag. It looked even coller than in the picture, but it felt like it was made of really flimsy material. I kept feeling it to make sure and it definately felt really flimsy, like it would tear.
Soooo.....I tried to tear it. Only it wouldn't. I tried again, but it still wouldn't tear. This was proceeded by many nasty things happening to my bag under my hand because I was determined to prove this stuff it was made of was flimsy. But it didn't get hurt at all. I eventually took to it with a scissors and knife, but not a mark was left once I had done. I couldn't believe it.
And then it got weirder....cos all of a sudden all these strange people came into my house and starting bowing and praying before my bag. They were all worshipping it for some reasona and it was really odd.
Then I woke up...feeling mighty confuzzled by the whole thing.

Ok - so Monday night- I had a really disturbing dream. What's most disturbing about it, I think, was/is that I don't remember the particulars of the dream AT ALL. I almost always remember my dreams. Karen and I talked about them over breakfast most days. Anywho, at just about 3:30 A.M. the other night, Karen woke me up - I was screaming. I couldn't tell her why I was screaming. All I could tell her was that I had an overwhelming feeling of evil. I felt the weight of a purely evil presence - it was almost choking me. On Tuesday night, I was at my mom's and, just on a whim, I asked her if she had slept ok on Monday night. She asked why I wanted to know. I asked her just to tell me if she had slept ok. She said she had, but had been awakened at about 3:30 by what she thought was someone trying to break into the house. I then told her about my "dream". It was just a little freaky.

I had this really..err..you could say embarrassing dream a few days back.
I was in my class, talking with a group of my friends. Suddenly, this guy (not going to reveal his name, since it's pretty unique) came up to me and started teasing me about something (I'm not sure what it was), and I got really irritated.
So we started arguing (the playful kind), and somehow or other, he got amnesia. ;D So I had to sit next to him in class (both of us sit in the back, but this time we were in front) and sort of tutor him.
Anyway, let's just say I ended up liking him or something.
It's really weird, since I don't even know him (we haven't talked at all), and I don't like him. What made me think of him, I don't know.

Weird. Robin, it looks like you and your mother have some sort of psychic connection. Like maybe it's like mother's intuition, but a daughter's perspective. Or maybe you've got a connection to the room. Have you lived in your mother's house for prolonged periods of time before? Particularly in the room where she thought someone was trying to break into?
I had this dream last night about some weird future war thing. Not Iraq or North Korea or anything, it was some weird futuristic war. And we all had to fight in some way or another. There were people with pitchforks and knives and whatnot, but it was mostly hand-to-hand fighting and not with guns and stuff.
My friend Tom was there and he and Neko were fighting in the same place- they went to the sushi store () and were looking at slabs of raw fish together. Neko had a 5 kilo bag of rice with him for supplies (I have no idea why my dreams are so whack!) but was otherwise unarmed so I'm guessing he was using the rice as a weapon?!
Anyway I was based somewhere else so I hugged them both and ran over some green hills (not unlike the tops of hobbit-holes) and I found out that the place I was supposed to be was under attack. I jumped off the top of a hill to a landing and ran down some stairs and at the bottom I found a case with a crossbow (like, the portable metal ones you can fold out) and a large spear. The spear had a black spearhead and a brown handle with white (painted on) spots. I was fighting someone who had a pitchfork with the same markings.
That's all I remember- it was very weird. It made heaps of sense at the time though. Maybe the fact that I watched "Gangs of New York" earlier that night had some weird subliminal influence on my thinking?

That is so weird. Two nights ago (which I guess is closer to that dream from the time zones maybe...) I had a dream where I was fighting someone too! It was hand-to-hand combat, and I had this knife, and I kept stabbing him but he just laughed and said I'd need a sharper knife if I wanted to get him. Yuck. And earlier that night I'd read a book with very detailed battle scenes... and I knew it would give me nightmares.
Then last night, I made a pun in my dream. I am such an idiot sometimes. Gen and I were sleeping in this house, and there was a big storm, so the next day my little sister and her friend Kaitlin came over. We went into another room of the house which had these two windows which were really bad and had let all this water in. The windows were called Swim Windows.
So Kait looked at the two windows and said, "Cool! You guys have swim windows!"
And I answered, "Cool? We we practically swimming in this room from all the water they let in."
Gen gave me one of her "that was so awful" looks.
