Oh my gosh... I'm holding the 7th book in my hands right now. I'm kind of afraid to open it and start reading. I don't want the adventure and magic to end.

Me too. I don't have the book yet because my sister is getting it in Australia so I have to wait for her to read it first. >_<
Or maybe I should pick up the box set of all the adult version covers that I saw in the bookstore...

I felt like that, too, weeks ago, but once I got the book, all those feelings sorta melted away. I'm done with the book by now, so I'll be waiting to talk about it with you guys in the other thread.

I've been reading it slowly. I've liked it because I think I'm taking more in that I did the first time I read any of the other books as they were released, and am missing less.
Only a few chapters to go...

Gah, I don't get to read the book until tonight, because my friend Eric is lending it to me. And he won't tell me anything about it and I have so many questions!! But yeah, I will have a review up by the weekend, because once I get this book I'm not doing anything else until I'm done with it.

I finished it!
Wow, I'm ready to discuss this SO much in the other thread, but I'll say that I didn't cry, but there was a lot of out loud "oh, WHAT?!" kind of exclamations.

Seriously?! Not a single tear?? I cried so much, starting from the very beginning. I thought this was the most emotional book of all.

I think I'm a super heartless ice queen. Sure, I felt sad and whatnot, but I didn't actually shed tears. But that said, I don't cry a lot in real life. (Plus, IRL there was other more cryworthy stuff happening, so maybe I was saving my tears for that. )
Now I want to start from the beginning with Book 1 and read them all... and see how many inter-book clues I can pick up along the way.

Book 7

While reading it on your own I think it's easier to show your emotions, since no one's observing you and any laughing or crying doesn't hinder you from continuing to read, so when I read it alone I cried a few times, plus for pretty much the whole chapter of Snape's memories. But I just finished reading it out loud to Joe and though I choked up a few times, I had to keep reading, so the only bit where I actually cried (and had to stop reading for a bit) was the bit with Fred near the end.
Also, since the first time I read it I stayed up all night to finish while the rest of my family was asleep, going to the bathroom was so terrifying. I kept getting scared that Voldemort or death eaters or snatchers would pop out of nowhere.
