My, my, how on earth did we last for three years? Three years! The anticipation is growing with every setting sun and rising of the moon.
It has to be good. It has to be, or else... -narrow eyes- Matrix Reloaded. Ah, I still have high expectations for it. However, that's just the problem. I don't want to be disappointed. ((Yes, I haven't seen it yet, either.)) I'll keep my fingers crossed. Hmmm...I think a lot of the viewers didn't like it because it was confusing. At least, that's what a friend of mine and I came up with. We didn't want to give up on Matrix Reloaded.

Yeah, I feel bad if I just go ahead and believe all the bad things people say, so I'm going to wait to see it for myself. Of course, that won't be until near the end of the years, so...
anyways, I got really excited again. I found another pic of the book in 3D in the newspaper. ;D Can anyone tell what the color of the title is? It looks sorta like a really pale blue, but it might be white or silver (hopefully not the latter...as much as I love the combo of blue and silver, we've already had a silver cover. Yes, I am overly picky.)

I does seem like a pale blue or should I say metallic blue? Either way, I think that would look great. I personally hope it's not white. It just kind of...seems like a bad choice of color for the title.

A light metallic blue would be very cool. From the very beginning (i.e., two years ago ), I always pictured this book with royal blue words. I guess my image wasn't too far off; after all, the whole cover is blue.
I'm going to see if I can scan that pic in later.

Which gives the book an interesting effect. It's kind of gloomy and/or mysterious. Like there is a secret just waiting to be told...Heehee...I make no sense, not even to myself.
Oooo...I want to see it.

;D No, that makes perfect sense!! Maybe we just think on the same brainwaves, or whatever they're called. I agree. The whole blue scheme makes it seem very mysterious and sad and hopeful at the same time, like we've discussed earlier. Blue was a nice choice...of course, I haven't read the book yet, although I so wish I have, so it's a bit early to say that.

Ah well, I'm not as completely out of it as I thought. Now I'm wondering if that's a good thing or bad thing. And now I again am doing this dangerous pastime called thinking. ((More Beauty and the Beast)) and I say to myself. What on earth could this book be about? What is the thing Dumbledor has kept from Harry for so long? Do I really want to read a love story that involves Harry? And why the bloody hell does Ron become the Gryffindor keeper?!

I KNOW!! Stupid Ron...oh wait, that wasn't your point. I really want to know what's going on in book five. There have been absolutely no hints or teasers or anything...regarding the crucial plot, anyways. I can't remember what it was like when book four was about to come out; did they give away some specific clues about the actual plot?
I like Beauty and the Beast...a lot...but why on earth do you keep referring back to that?!

You know what? I think Ron is better off not on the team...ever. Ok, ok...I'll try to be more considerate. But I also really hope that Harry isn’t' the team captain. Hmmm...I honestly don't remember. I don't think they did.
Ummm...I just have random thoughts pop into my head now and then. Like....er...POP TARTS!!! [::] -cough- Excuse me...

Uh... not to interrupt you two, but I've [finally] found a picture for the people who get the British/Canadian version ((don't know why it took me so long... ha, 2 weeks left ;D))

hehe, nice effort, pkia. just don't look on the second page of this thread then.
Well, Harry is obviously going to become the Gryff captain eventually, although hopefully not in book five. What I would really hate is if Harry becomes Head Boy. It's gotta be DRACO!!

I don't think Harry would be head boy anyways. If he was offered the position, don't you think he'd refuse it since he appears to hates all the attention he gets? He'd think he was only getting the position because he defeated Voldie ((which would be true)) I don't think that Draco would get it either ((no matter how much you want him to )) *thinks* Well, there's going to be more new characters in this next book sooo... I think it's going to be someone we haven't met yet.
*pretends that the same cover picture isn't already on the second page*

;D
Oh yeah, I didn't think about Harry not liking all the attention. (Are they allowed to turn down a high position like that? I guess it's not so much if they're allowed to, but rather that most people wouldn't want to.) Plus, Dumbledore might figure that if Harry were Head Boy, he would be more vulnerable to attacks since the Head Boy and Girl patrol the school all the time. Good point. I guess it very likely may be a new character, but I have to wonder how Rowling would make it work.
Oh well. I can always read about Draco being Head Boy in fanfics.

Yes, I think that's the case. You are allowed to turn it down, but most people would jump at the chance. I really don't want Ron to be Head Boy...Prefect, ok... Head Boy, no. That is unless he grows up a bit more and shows up he isn't all just fun and games. Though I would imagine most people preferring the silly Ron to the mature Ron.
Hmmm...It could be someone we haven't met yet. Perhaps a transfer? You never now. We'll just have to wait and see.
A Slytherin Head Boy would be wonderful...Tom was Head Boy... ;D

I'd like a Slytherin Head too - it'd shake things up a bit. Unfourtantly, Draco's a little too overt in his evilness, Crabbe and Goyle are... well... Crabbe and Goyle. But we don't know much about Graham Pritchard or Malcom Baddock so there's still hope though Is it being pretty much assumed that Hermione's going to get Head Girl?
