So I saw Rent. And I have three little words: Oh my god. I don't want to put spoilers in just yet (until I see it again because there were some things I want to confirm) but it was awesome. Don't go into it expecting it to be like the stage production, but there are parts of it which really reflect the stage version on a much bigger scale. Only downside was that they cut out a couple of songs I really wanted to see done on the big screen. But otherwise... well, I'm going to see it again, aren't I?
How much do I love the Life Cafe? ;D

So I finally saw Rent since I'm back home for break and I totally loved. I'm glad that the theater wasn't packed cause then no one could yell at me for singing along quietly. ^-^ And yes, the Life Cafe scenes were just so awesome.

Wow, that's soon. I still want to see it a couple more times in the cinema.
I wish they put Love Heals on as the song in the closing credits, that would have been cool.

A little too soon in my eyes. I wonder why they wanted to release it this early and not wait a few months after the movie leaves the theater. Quite odd isn't it?

Yeah, that's what I think. You'd wait until March or early April or something for a December release... but maybe they want to keep the momentum going or something? I'm not sure how that works.

They say I'm Mark. And it has the guy from N'Sync. I'm currently obsessed with Rent. I didn't know it until they made a Portuguese version last year which I didn't go to but sparked some interest. So I rent the movie. Fell in love with it. Bought the soundtrack. Bought the movie. And now the songs can't get out of my head.

And now you have to see the stage version. It's worth it, to see the differences, to see it live and also because the songs are fabulous.
Forget regret, or life is yours to miss...

They made the stage version here in Portugal in October. But I didn't go, first because I didn't know how good it was and second because I didn't have anyone to go with. Had I known how amazing Rent is and I would've gone by myself with no problems at all.
The fire's out anyway...
I love Another Day. Roger wasn't my favourite character until I bought the OST and started listening to it over and over. He's still not my favourite, but he's a close second. I'm afraid Mark and Angel are tied at first place.

My favourite characters are Joanne and Collins, not because of the songs they have (although I'll cover you at Angel's funeral always makes me cry) but just because I think their characters are just so... relatable. Maureen annoys me though.
