Comments on the Dean Thomas Award Entries

Since I couldn't comment in the actual thread, I thought it would be nice to start another where people could comment.

Let me begin...WOW. I am amazed at the incredible talents displayed in there! You guys are so awesome. More! I want MORE!!

*whistles* Yeah, you guys have got some real talent there. I put mine in just for the heck of it cause it's always fun to have people see what you've done, but as far as talent goes, everyone else in there has got loads of it.

I would like to quote Dianella in her words: "WOW."

Yeah I agree. And I'm pretty glad everything went on well with that Award too. Since there was this amount of feedback to it, I guess we could do it again for the next one?

But really, I didn't submit mine, the scanner didn't scan very well, but it would have come out like a piece of scrap compared to the ones entered. They were all brilliant, in the true sense of the word.

Yay, I wanted to post comments in there, but I had to hold myself back from doing so.

Okay, I want to mention some specific ones but really, I liked looking at everyone's artwork. Except there are a couple I can't access, unfortunately.

Fox, I liked your Iris the most. It's beautiful, almost like it's glowing. I also liked the Balto-like dog. It reminds me of Disney artwork.

Jameson, you're amazing at drawing realistically! Your shading, it seems, is especially impressive. The first two pieces definitely showed that.

Willow, you already know I think you're a great artist.

Hali, I like the coloring in your third pic.

the new work in the dean thomas award thread is absolutely fabulous. i love the strokes, the use of the pencil is so perfect--my compliments to nierme! you have a very unique style and it comes through brilliantly in each one of your drawings.
