Heh, that song is hilarious, but those hobbits can't dance and have no fashion sense whatsoever.

ooh! I found the funniest thing today! At least, I thought it was. It's at www.sixflags.com click on the big picture that says "It's Playtime!" very funny, I loved it to death. ;D *hums the song* For some reason, I can see En doing that someday.

I remember when I first saw that commercial on the TV. I was so freaked out I ran out of the living room. No joke.

Aw, Tigress! I'm sorry, I thought it was funny. It is so Willy-Wonka-esk. You know that bit where he comes out all fragile like, then he falls over....into a somersault! I can't wait till Johnny Depp plays Willy Wonka in the new film they're making. As for En, it's only a matter of time.... ;D

Um... I think I'm flattered... I'd definitely wear the outfit at that age, anyway
Which Famous Poet Are You?
You are Lawrence Ferlinghetti! Modern rebel and owner and proprietor of the City Lights Bookstore in San Francisco, Lawrence Ferlinghetti is known for his playful tone and innovative style. He is MY favourite poet, and the works of lawrence are always eye-opening socio-cultural critiques in a light-hearted tone. He is recognized as one of the most influential poets of the beat era.

You should be flattered, En. If all old people were that cool, we'd, uh....be living in a world of way cooler old people! ;D
I got-"You are Walt Whitman! Champion of the Transcendentalist American Ideal, Walt Whitman is one of the first poets to use the "free verse" form in America. He has been imitated, but will never be duplicated, just like you! Except for by everyone else who gets Walt Whitman "
Fancy that.

Is Seamus Heaney an option on that poet quiz? Or Yeats?
I was a toss-up between two. One was Lawrence Ferlinghetti, and the other was:

The first time I took it I got this:
But I went back and changed one answer, and ended up with Lawrence Ferlinghetti also.

Maybe it's because we're all socially aware world citizens or something, so we all came up with that result.

I think your theory's quite meritable, Neeks. For I didn't get Ferlinghetti, but I'm not an "aware" world citizen. I'm more of a....."spaced-out" citizen.

spaced out indeed, Tasia ;D maybe its not so technical, maybe we're all just similar in personality (like the way we're all addicted to this site)

I don't know if this had any influence on why so many of us got Lawrence Ferlinghetti, but the quiz-maker did say that Ferlinghetti is hir favourite poet, so the quiz might have been slightly biased toward cool people?
