I am aware that not even GOF is out yet, but they're already searching for the director of the 5th HP movie, so we could discuss.
Personally I'd like to see Grimmauld Place and Mrs Black. I wonder if she'll scream and shout even louder than Mrs. Weasley's howler.

I'd like to see when Harry and Cho o out on Valentine's Day. I think it'd be great to know what she looks like in the movies and the awkwardness between the two.

Well we'll get to know what she looks like in GOF. But yeah the awkwardness would be like "OMG! Get Harry out of there!"
Rita and I were discussing on the possible director too. If Alfonso Cuaron did OOTP too, wouldn't it be so cool? I mean, he'd get the veil scene perfect!

I would love for Alfonso Cuaron to direct OotP! That would definitely be ideal. Maybe these scenes are a little general, but I'm looking forward to seeing the scene where Harry is being transported on broomstick with the OotP surrounding him, and I'm also looking forward to seeing the DA meetings. Oh, and I want to see if Dolores matches the image in my head.

True. Down with Umbridge! I'd probably be loathing her all film. All I can say is this. The person who will play her part would better prepare.
I saw drawn pictures on varies websites, and I was a bit surprised how they made Umbridge. They put her as this really fat woman and stuff. Maybe it's because I'm not very good at picturing people, or even more, because I never even thought of picturing them. But I never expected her to be this kind of humongous(sp?) person.

I thought she was described as squat with a frog like face?
I agree with Hermy, I can't wait to see the old Black place and Sirius running out, pulling the curtains on his mum. I expect the director to choose someone really good for Kingsley Shacklebolt *girly squeal* and Tonks. I hope the CGI for her face morphing isn't too terrible... Obviously the Department of Mysteries is the most important aspect of the movie (hmm... brains) but I also would like the assembly of Dumbledore's Army to be given special attention. They could just cut out all of that Cho and Harry drama out to make room for better things.
I want to see Sirius and James messing with Snape and his grey panties. *evil smirk* Oh, and Fred and George's grand escape. That part made me so happy, I practically screamed with glee.

Oh yeah! Those too! But think about it; Fred and George's escapade was all like fireworks and stuff. I don't know how they could it without the scene looking very superficial.
I guess they'd have to choose different actors for the Marauders and Snape.
I'd rather not see that terrible damsel in distress.

They definitely need different actors for the young Marauders, young Lily, and young Snape. And they better be cute, all of them.
I can't wait to see how they make the Ministry of Magic HQ. It sounded so amazing in the book. And yeah, totally with you, Cala, on the Fred & George exit scene. ;D

Yeah Snape has to have a good smirk!! I was reading that piece from OOTP to my brother some days ago, and he loved it!
I've been thinking too, I'm starting to doubt they'll make such a huge deal out of the twins' departure, or at least, it wouldn't be exactly to the book. Have you guys never noticed how Peeves has never appeared? So if he hasn't appeared in any of these 4 films, I doubt he'll come along in the 5th one. Which is a shame really.

Peeves' salute is pretty priceless, but as long as they include the twins' exit in some way, I'll be happy.

Definitely. That scene was hard to read because popular kids humiliating weird kids was always something that annoyed me, but it was a necessary scene to better understand Snape and his loathing for Sirius and James, and how much Sirius and James changed since then (I'd still like to know what made James change and what made Lily start liking him). Seeing a young Sirius, a young, relaxed, undepressed and unmarked Sirius would be great. Plus, it would make that *cof* scene even sadder.
If I cried in PoA when Sirius starts looking at Hogwarts nostalgically, remembering the day he first passed through its doors; if I got teary-eyed when Harry first sees Sirius in Snape's pensieve and describes him as terribly handsome; and if I spent a whole day sobbing about his death like if he was someone related to me, I'm sure OoTP will be something hard for me to digest. Like the book was, anyway.
Oohhh, I want to see Arthur Weasley in the hospital! I want to see Mrs Weasley almost killing him when the Healer tells her about the stitches.

Well JK said that after book 7 there will be no need for her to write another book about the Marauders' years and such, so I suppose we'll see more of that in HBP and book 7.
Something tells me they'll keep the stitches part out. As great a scene as it is, they might leave it out. Even Lockhart's reappearance. Cutting things out sucks.
