I think that's blantenly obvious with Hermione touching Ron's hand and Hermione holding Ron with Harry holding Hermione when buckbeak "dies"...
No movie go-er would get those relationships until those moments in that 3rd movie. Only book fans would understand how much hinting or false hinting that is. *giggles*
I am in love with Tigers..and Guy Pearce, hence the importance of that film to me

I know! ;D I love Cuaron for adding those little Ron/Hermione parts! Heeee! And it better not be "false hinting." Rowling has even said it's pretty obvious, hasn't she? *gleeful* I guess being a fan of PoA just makes the movie more enjoyable.
Guy...Pearce...sounds really familiar. What else did he do?

Sphi, was Pansy the girl who made the boggart into a jack-in-the-box in DADA? I know I'm not Sphi, but I think I know the answer. Remus called her Parvati, methinks. I really liked that scene, with the music and the laughing and the moon and the....
I need to go and see it again!
You know how I would have liked to see the movie end? Instead of Harry flying into the camera (Ouch), surely he could have been flying his Firebolt in the Quidditch final where they win the darn Quidditch Cup!. Rar!

YEa, I'm sure an extra ten minutes to that movie wouldn't have hurt. Y'know?
Guy Pearce was in: LA Confidential, Memento, Time Machine, and Prisilla; Queen of The Desert.

That would have been a perfect ending! Just make the easy transition from him hopping on his firebolt and soaring upward into what turns into the Quidditch field for the last match.
Excellent idea there. *Frowns* Now I really wish that had been the ending

Oh yeah. I think Lupin did call her Parvati. In any case, it wasn't Pansy.
AH! I agree with all you guys: that would've been an awesome ending. It's still really fluffy, but it would be a ton better than that freeze frame. It's so doable, too. Bah.
Memento! That's where I remember that name from.

Question, was Cauron involved with the previous movies in anyway?
I was watching some "behind the scenes" thing on A&E the other day and I noted that Columbus was a producer for the 3rd movie. Which is good, it would be bad if the 3rd movie came along and they said, "well Chris we're doing PoA now and we decided for Cauron to be the director" "cool" awkward pause "Um ya, so we'll give you a call when we start doing the 4th one alright?" Heh. So how did they find Cauron?

I saw the movie on Friday in London, Whiteleys Shopping Centre, Bayswater Road. because I can-can-can I'm not into writing a huge thing, so I'll do it on topics, which would make things a lot easier for me to think and for you to read (always your comfort first ):
- the Dementors: I spent the whole movie saying "but they don't fly, dammit!", my mother was getting tired of hearing me, saying "but they do fly here, shut up!".. the thing is that I liked them flying. Maybe it wouldn't be so impressive if they were the way they're described in the books. I loved their cloaks, all ripped apart and flying all around them... loved it. Another thing I didn't like in the Dementor deparment is the way they sucked your good memories... it was just weird. I know they couldn't do it any other way, people wouldn't understand it if the Dementor just got there and Harry immediately passed out, they'd go like "why did this guy pass out?".. because they don't have the book's description and all, but it was weird.
- what was that thing coming out of Sirius's mouth? His soul? And it got back inside? It confused me
- Lupin was amazing. So jazzy and cool! I would still take the moustache off, but the scars were fabulous and the way he played the character.. brilliant, really! I think this is all I can say. The boggart class was just as I pictured it: fun, relaxed, with beaming students eager to participate, the jazz just made it better. I loved Lupin. Oh, except that bit where he talks about Lily, sounding like he had a crush on her or something. "Your mother was there for me.. etc etc"
- Why didn't Harry ask how Lupin knew the words were Mischief Managed? If I were him, I'd be curious to know, since even a good wizard like Snape couldn't read it. [that bit was hilarious]
- Fred and George At last! At last they're exactly like I imagined and like they're described in the books, according to wit. At. Last. And the new haircut makes them look different [... if you get what I mean]
- I loved how Hermione called Ron "Ronald" when she was mad at him... and how she always held his hand or hugged him whenever something terrible was happening. Now the funny thing is that JKR doesn't end them up together. Cuaron will have to go back in time and re-do the whole thing.
- I didn't like the beginning, nor that head in the Knight Bus. I think the beginning was too... childish. I loved how Dudley kept watching his TV while his aunt blew up, and I loved Harry kicking his bedside table (teenage angst, yay) but I only started believing it would be pretty good once they were inside the train.
- Rupert Grint is my new hero.
- That picture of James and Lily dancing in the aaautuumn shaaadee ;D Loved it.
- Sirius. Can I say I didn't like him? In the first scenes he seemed too mad and silly for my liking. He's supposed to be obsessed with killing Peter but not in that way that made him ridiculous. That scene when he's down on the floor and we see his rotten teeth, the gaze on his eyes, the tone of his voice, just ridiculous. And the accent? He needs a London accent, not that .. I mean.. horrible! The only scene I actually liked him was in the end, when he tells Harry what he tells Harry, I can't remember. The whole "Remus, my friend, you're still the same inside etc etc" thing seemed a little exaggerated. No, Gary wasn't what I was expecting, no. But maybe, since it's Sirius and since it's my favourite actor, I was expecting a little bit too much than I should. I'm going to have the DVD this week [through my deviant ways] and I'm watching it again, knowing what to expect, and maybe I'll like him better. Hopefully.
- the Time Turner thing is as confusing as it should be. I don't know if the stones thing happens in the book? I can't remember Anyway, and this goes to the book as well, I think JKR should've stuck with them just going back in time without making them interfere (Hermione with the stones and Harry with the Patronus). What confuses me is this: if in the "present time", "future" Harry was already in the other side of the river and produced the Patronus, that means they're always going back in time, yes?

Well guess there's only one way to descibe it all is there? The beauty of Cuaron's suspense.- what was that thing coming out of Sirius's mouth? His soul? And it got back inside? It confused me Yes that was his soul. One thing though which didn't quite go with the book. We knew that if the soul was sucked out the person would be alive but worse than dead. How they did it, like when it went back in Sirius's body and he started breathing again it's like they took his life.- That picture of James and Lily dancing in the aaautuumn shaaadee ;D Loved it. I agree that one was lovely. - the Time Turner thing is as confusing as it should be. I don't know if the stones thing happens in the book? I think the throwing stones thing and the whole Hermione howling and exclaiming how her hair looks from the back was done to try and make the audience who hasn't read the book understand. Some people can get confused quite easily. Hmmm....yeeesss, if you mean like when they go back to the Hospital Wing and Dumbledore tells them "you're gone". Is that what you mean?

Well of course the discussion of time travel and what would happen and be affected is all based on opinions, but I would say yes, if one was to go back in time it would mean one would always be going back in time. there would always be two of you and one would be behind the other. Which could explain deja vu (with the two of you y'know, being the same pesron and all) it could also explain destiny and things happening and not being able to change how your life will go and stuff.

Wait, what do you mean by "always going back in time"? The Time Turner stops time from progressing forward, so there aren't always two of you. That's why Harry and Hermione had to be back to the Infirmary at the right time--if they didn't get back on time, then there would be two of them living in the present and that would just screw everything up, right? Does that make sense?
I like your idea of deja vu. Whatever time travel we do in the future impacts what we do in the past/present, so sometimes we're doing something for a second time and we don't even know it. Heh.

I think what Herm and Rita are saying is: If Ron went back in time to that 3 hour time period, there would be 2 Harry's and 2 Hermione's. But only for that 3 hour period. Afterwards, they go back to having one of each.
If Harry and Hermione had not made it back to the hospital wing, they would have just appeared out of nowhere methinks. I'm not sure What's this I hear? Did Sirius' soul actually go back in? Who would have thought of something so ridiculous?
The de ja vu idea sounds good. I've always thought it was like what you said Tige. Something to do with repeating a certain point in space-time....but I don't know how you would do something like that

Yea, I just sort of wish there was proof to it all. So that theories and all can be put to rest and there wouldn't be any problems with opinions conflicting and both sides being reasonable because there's no proof. Like vampires...are they vulnerable to crosses, do they sire other humans, can stakes kill them, do they poof Buffy-style or do they die with the blood they've drank spilt on the floor...etc.
Rubes, I love that song, in your sig. pretty cool video too...

Well how they put it in the film, it's like it wasn't his soul which got back but his life, which is entirely wrong. The Dementors suck your soul NOT your life.
Rubes, colour=tomato? Going back to the Time Travel thing, so there would be still like 2 of each person, 'cause there were still if we're talking of Ron and Hermione in the present who made it back to the Hospital Wing but in the past there were 4? The ones who went back in time and the once who belonged to the past. Wow, never thought I could be so confusing.

Tomato is the Gryff colour. Nialle uses it in the House Comp., Pkia uses it for the Quadwizard stuff, I use it for my posting. Tomato tomato everywhere
The Time Travel thing is too confusing I reckon. I just accept that it is
Perhaps the movie has clues to future story lines. After all, JKR is in charge
