Oi, first day of school and I already have a headache...but it's from all the bright, burning, blazing sun.
Anyway, what happened to this thread? Don't let it drop and die now! Here's a new quote.
"Men at some time are masters of their fate" --Julius Caesar, Act i, Sc.2.
Is this Slytherin-y? You be the judge.

"How's my driving? We can discuss it on my cell phone" ~bumper sticker in a store.
Now that's a slytherin-y quote! ;D
School?! ack! I start school the second.

And down right hilarious, Tigress!
Oi, Di, that's actually very good. A Slytherin in Hufflepuff clothing is surely very dangerous. I mean, think about it...

It would be scary, but it'd be more scarier to see the hufflepuffs who's clothes were taken by the slytherins running after them in their underwear. Though, that's depending on the Huff. If it were really hot guys then it'd be cool. ;D Ok I'll think of a random one, though I do really really like the one I made up that is now my signature \/ "We may be thought to see glee in others' misery; but we're actually made to simply.." That's all that I got.

Hey, I was just reading this book called The Portable Curmudgeon (compiled by Jon Winokur) -- and it is totally up you folks' alley. A whole book of really sarcastic remarks organised by subject ;D
On marriage:
LADY ASTOR: If you were my husband, Winston, I'd poison your coffee. WINSTON CHURCHILL: If you were my wife, Nancy, I'd drink it.
Oo oo, I just remembered another one you might like:
"The proportion of persons capable of reading and writing is higher than ever; but the proportion of illiterates to literates is unchanged." --Alberto Moravia ;D

Hey I got inspired! Only not in writing...in making an image! I added on to the quote "Evil is a point of view" so it relates to the image

I used Adobe Photoshop. Just a simple picture, changed the color balance to favour green, and added text. It seems like something Draco would deffinitly say... ::giddy sigh::
Oh it bothers me, this one girl in that picture...right below Harry? She's looking in the opposite direction of what is going on. Since when do you turn your cheek on a Harry/Draco duel?! If I were the director I'd stop, yell at her, and re-do the scene. Those little bits bother me!

Ah yes, that's what I thought. I want Photoshop... -pouty face- Then I could do a bunch of stuff with it. How fun.
Hey, you're right. I just noticed that. Must be clueless.
Oi, I finished a picture, but I'm too lazy to scan it into my comp. and upload it, yadda, yadda, yadda... I'll get around to it.

Willow, post the drawing!! I'm sure we all want to see it in all its beauty!!
I found a bunch of quotes in books I've been reading. (Everything I read now reminds me of Harry Potter or something else I'm currently obsessed with. It's pretty weird.) I'll add them here a bit later.

Eh. Later. You guys can see it in all its beauty later. When I'm not so lazy.
I'd like to read your quotes...
"It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine."
--REM
Thought that was funny...

*chuckles* In my yearbook, each club was allowed to publish their mottos under their pictures. The Procrastinators Club motto was this:
Anyway, here's your curmudgeon dose du jour. On the subject of the human race:
"If I could get my membership fee back, I'd resign from the human race." --Fred Allen
"Don't overestimate the decency of the human race." -- H.L. Mencken
"Their heart's in the right place, but their head is a thoroughly inefficient organ." -- W. Somerset Maugham
One more goodie:
"Humility is no substitute for a good personality." Fran Lebowitz
