You can call me whatever. I like it when people have their own nicknames for me.
Hermy, you're already going to college?! Compared to you, I'm probably going to sound like the laziest person in the world. My school year went by...rather quickly. And it was a lot more stressful than I thought it would be, so I'm relieved that it's over. I don't want to do anything this summer. I know I'm going to get bored very quickly, but I'd like to be able to just relax!
Mmm, maybe I'll go check it out. But I'm not a fan of RP

Actually I'm going to take these courses because I know I'll get bored with 4 months of holidays. And by college I don't mean where you guys go when you're 18. We have Uni. here. But before you can go to Univeristy you have to go to College, and do the Newts.
Basically just think of the education system here like the one at Hogwarts with OWLs and NEWTs. The same thing happens here.
Cool! We're embarking on an adventure actually and we're looking for people.
Hehe, *shakes avvie* like my new avvie? I don't know why I kept that red-headed girl avvie. I'm certainly not red-headed. I think I just found that pic when I registered and kept using it.

Oh right. I should know that from Spanish. Colegio --> Universidad. So what are your NEWTs called?
I don't know if I should join your RP. Maybe you should look for someone else for your adventure.
Yeah, it's cool. I thought you were Willow at first, but I'll get used to it. Or maybe I should stop identifying people by their avatars.

NEWTS are called A Levels here, and I think they're called that in England too. We're very similar to the British in ways of managing things, due to the fact that we were governed by the British for about 150 years.
That's ok if you don't feel like it. Maybe some other time then.
Hehe, well just like Healthy-Will, I have a liking for making avatars. It took some time to blend the two images together, especially with a very slow connection that day, but in the end, I like it.

Do you also take IBs later on before Uni? Or is that completely different?
Sorry, I know it sucks when no one responds to your posts. Maybe someone else will come along.
Lol...is that Willow's new name? ;D

What are IBs's exactly?
Yes I hope so. Our threesome is already turning into a Sherlock Holmes group. Lumie's Holmes, I'm Watson and Ko is Morstan. ;D
Hehe, yes it is! She is quite the healthy type isn't she?

IB stands for International Baccalaureate. Besides that, all I know is that they're equivalent or comparable to our AP (Advanced Placement) exams, which give students the opportunity for college credit during high school.
Aw, you guys are so funny. ;D
She does like her green apples...

I remember the word "Baccalaureate" from my French culture lessons. But I don't think we have that. I don't know what college credit is exactly(excuse my ignorance), but I doubt we have it here. Is it like a referee or something?

Well, in high school, you can take AP classes, which are accelerated to cover what you would cover in a college (university) class. At the end of each year, you can then take the AP exams, and depending on the score you get, you might be able to pass out of that class in college.

-kerblink- Excuse me... I'm still in a daze... Finals can do that to you... Just two more days left... -falls off chair-
Er, sorry.
Ah, AP classes... Thank goodness I have AP US History done with.

Blah, AP US. I was not a fan of that exam.

Oh so they're like a preparation for college, pretty much.
Good luck on your remaining exams Willow! Hope you do well.
I don't like Maltese History much, so I guess this has something to do with international history hatred.

Yeah, sorta. They cover what a college class would, and if you do well enough on the exam, you can pass out of that course later on.
Well, the class was alright, even interesting at times. I just didn't like the exam. There's so much covered.

Yeah I guess. I mean this year history was quite interesting at least. Maybe I find it boring at times because all we do is Maltese history.
I was reading some of the subject requirements, and under English it says the exam takes 9 hours. But just as long as we study Shakespeare, nothing can make me unhappy. ;D

How can one exam take nine hours?!
