Are you guys ready for this?
I present to you the "official" portrait of one of our amazing Headmasters at TrapDoor, Nialle Sylvan. This is a commission assigned to me by pkia as part of my payment for En in the Ravenclaw Benefit Auction.
Hopefully, the image isn't too messed-up and blocky. Anyways...tell me what you guys think and enjoy!
En, did I capture your essence?
*whew* Sorry for the long wait. If I ever recover from the shock of making this portrait, I'll start working on the second Headmaster portrait. Speaking of which, I still need your info, pkia, dear.

-grins from ear to ear like this: ;D-
That is brilliant, Silver! With a cool little plaque and everything! Heehee... branches. Hey, what did you use to create this lovely piece of art?

Why, thank you, all. I still don't think it's that good; I can't draw realistically...like Willow does. (To answer your question, Willow, I drew it by hand and then scanned it and then coloured it in with some photo editing program I found on my computer.)
Neko, I still have to do at least one more (pkia's), but...maybe if some of you guys really want it (and if you pay me enough Galleons ), I could try to make a few more. By the way, I'm glad someone could tell that was supposed to be a badger. And Pollemagne.
It's not a problem, pkia. I've been forgetting about it, too. Whenever you have time, really.

Hey now, everyone has their own way of drawing and that's fine. I for one believe that your style is lovely.

;D Thanks, En. Your reaction means a lot already. (*chuckling to herself* That squawk is making me picture you as a gigantic blue bird again. )
You make perfect sense, Fantasia! Thank you. I'm glad you like it, too.

*recovering slightly* I made it the background on my desktop, so I can look at it a lot ;D
It's just so perfect. The haphazard leaves -- you have no idea how very much like that I am, both literally and figuratively. I've always got about ten weird ideas sprouting and clinging all over my conversation, and I really do have gazillions of little notes in all my pockets, and they fall out all the time so I always look a bit like a very distracted dustdevil on its way out of an old bookshop And you have no idea how many v-necked sweaters I own and wear with the sleeves always rolled up. I am a compulsive sleeve-roller
And I love Pol and the badger. What perfect touches! I didn't even know if most people around here knew about Pol... and the badger is so cute... yay, yay yay. And my hair looks like that too. Messy. It's just exactly right, love. Thank you so much.
That's me. One big blue bird of happiness AWWK!

Wow! That is great art work!
Another Wow! En, do you really look like that?

;D Actually, yeah, it's really close to how I actually look -- and exactly like my character, exactly. The only difference between the portrait and me IRL is that my IRL body shape is more androgynous. Where men tend toward a shoulder-to-hip shape like \ /, and women tend to look more like / \ (not that drastic in either case, but you get what I mean) -- I'm like this: | |
Tasia, what are we waiting for?

Hmm...what are we waiting for? Oh, yes, the sweater bit. You can breathe out now. I was just trying to remember who that compulsive sleeve-roller bit reminded me of, but I've got nothin'.
I'm so glad we can finally see what Pol looks like! Oh, and you too En. ;D
