There is a huge statue of a dinosaur (a triceratops to be precise) sort of wedged somewhere between the window and the corridor in the common room, where a room should be. How did it get here? Who knows, but it looks pretty... obscsure standing here in the middle of the Huff commons.
Anyway, there's a little flap across the belly of the statue with a "Welcome" doormat in front of it. If you dare to step inside, you will notice fairy lights decorating the interior and a pile of beanbags in one corner. There is a hammock above the pile of beanbags and a bookcase full of academic work, poetry and Roald Dahl books against the wall. A well-stocked pantry full of cookies, chocolate bars and non-sparkly marshmallows sits next to a cosy fireplace (where the chimney leads into the dinosaur statue's nostrils...).
What mayhem and madness awaits you? Come on in and find out!

*grins and looks up from where she is in the hammock* Hey Fan! Welcome to my new pad. I thought I could with an actual place to leave all my stuff lying around... you're welcome to stay for as long as you want (except for saturdays when we have to go to your room for breakfast).

*enters the stomach hesitantly, but grins when she sees KoNeko and Fantasia*
Hey... Koko, can I join you in the hammock, or do you have an aversion to being squashed? I'm warning you that I might fall asleep, though... (In which case you'd get squashed even more ) Too many hours of class with too much homework and not enough sleep.

guinevere, wearing her favourite denim smock, black leggings and birkenstocks--ducks into the door and shivers. "Ah, the fire feels so comforting. there is a bit of a bite in the air today". her constant companion, the little silky terrier, jake, squirms to get out of her shoulder bag in the process spilling the books, drawing pad, pencils and a bag of jellie bellies in the process. "this great! how ingenious of you to come up with this. you are the most creative of our gang"

*waves and shuffles over in the hammock to make room for Rue* Hey all. Come on in, find a seat on a beanbag (sorry, I'm a bit low on actual chairs and tables and stuff). Can I offer you some cookies? Tea for the chilly weather? Butterbeer?
Thanks for the compliment, guin. I'm glad you like the room. You know, I'd be happy to have a neighbour like you down the hall, and in any case you're more than welcome to stay as long as you want here. Is Jake thirsty or hungry or something? I could rustle up a couple of dog biscuits for him or a bowl of water or something.

*giggles for no apparent reason* How did you aquire this, er....fascinating abode? *gets up* Mind if I start a fire in his lungs? Smoking is such a nasty habbit, but once you start you're hooked. *rolls her eyes and scans the room for a log of some sort*

I really don't know. It was just here and it was hollow (I knocked on it to find out) so I just sort of made a home out of it... *shrugs* You don't think it walked over here and... died, or something, do you?
Oh, as for logs, I think there might be some in the corner next to the bookcase. If not, I remember seeing some wedged up in the statue's horns.

*picks up the wood in the corner* Nah. If it had up and died, we'd be smelling it. I really love what you've done to the place. ;D But I'm thinking some muchies could be in order. *after lighting the fire, she stretches and looks around. as everyone seems to be sprawled somewhere, she adds* I'll just get them, shall I? *starts searching a cupboard. calls out* Hope you don't mind me going through everything! (as if you have a choice) ;D

There are marshmallows in that cupboard, if you want to toast them. And some candy or something. I can't remember what's stocked in there, so help yourself to whatever.

*passes out a few bags of candy, including M&M's, Snickers, Peeps, etc. Tosses a bag of marshmellows out, and a few skewers. stops, and decides to make tea instead* I think I've had enough s'mores for the present. Tea, anyone?
