Another thing about Hermione is that she gets very passionate about political stuff, like the house elves' rights and the case to save Buckbeak the hippogryph. Are you like that?

Do you ever have to translate what girls mean for your male friends?

Nepe. 'Cause I don't have any. My school is all-girls, so..
But, yeah sometimes I do with friends on here who are males.

I have like several charectars that I can not seem to decide on which one is my favourite.
Tonks is great in the fact that she had such a fun-loving personality and has the amazing ability to changer her looks (wish I could do that sometimes).
I really liked Cho pre-fith book. She got knocked off my list though when she became all weepy and damsel-in-distress like. I thought there would be more strength in her, you know?
And Hermoine. I love how her charecter has developed, though it seemd to me pretty subtly (I only reread the books like the 8th time before I picked up on it, but hey, that might be just me ). She is obviously extremely smart and proves to the world, at least the wizarding one, that you do not have to be a pure-blood to exceed in magic. Plus her loyalty to her closest friends and a way to seem to be one of the steadfast logics in the crazy magical world Rowling had created.

Cho was never my favourite, and certainly isn't now. She continued making Harry's life more miserable.
Tonks is quite fun, but yeah, I'll always stick to Hermione the lovely know-it-all. ;D

I went back and reread the books over vacation and even though I think Ron is a cutie and I admire Lupin and everything, and maybe this was just the mood I was in, but I think that Neville might be my favourite character right now, right up there with Tom Riddle, who I find absolutely fascinating.

Well, I think Neville is actually a really bright, caring, and complex person...someone a lot of people might just take for granted. But he's got all these emotions, all these reactions that we're just starting to find out about...it intrigues me... We see in the first book that he has this secret well of courage...he has quiet courage. The sort that you overlook really easily. And then his whole background, with his parents and all...his part in the story, it just is really interesting. You know, because this lets the reader see just how much Voldemort affected everyone, not just Harry. I think Neville is the character that really shows how Voldemort affected all the wizarding world. I just am really interested to see how he turns out.
I think I may have mentioned Tom before, but it's just wondering about his past as well, wondering if someone had been there, could they have changed him...you know, his whole path to becoming evil and then, even questioning exactly how evil he is and the process and stuff. I don't know, I don't really think of Voldemort as a person. I think of him as this awful, awful idea of what a person can be...but Tom's still this person who we know becomes Voldemort, and yeah...I hope that made sense.

To be honest, I never really liked Neville, since PS I suppose. I admire him though for still living on and trying to get over things and stuff with his parents in St. Mungo's and having to live with his grandmother and all. But still, I don't regard him as a favourite.
Riddle, well yeah, you can see it that way, good aspect really.

Can I ask why you like each of them, as in the context of the book?

y yes u can.
1)Hermione Granger - because she reminds me of myself freshmen year 2)Ginny Weasley - she also reminds me of freshmen year 3)Sirius Black - has an attitude like mine 4)Cedric Diggory - just because of how he helped harry. 5)Voldemort - because everyone likes a villian somewhere along the line in a book.

*gasp* A site all about Tom Riddle! How exciting Willow! *tries to hide excitement* Hum de dum, I might have to check that out... Donnie, I find your character choices very interesting, or maybe that you have a favourite character per book. I tend to follow characters through the book, but I don't know, I just find your answers very interesting! *thinks on it* Are there any other reasons you might like them as well, just for curiousity's sake?
