...If you guys don't agree, I'll drop the subject...
I just don't think some of the points sound like actual instructions like a guildline should be... You know how much I adore the "evil is a point of view" quote, but I don't think it would fit in here. It's too... philisophical, if you know what I mean. It is a Code of Conduct, not a... list of Slytherin philosophy.
What I am suggesting is that we look back and modify the Code a bit.

I know what you mean...I can take it off.
So what else shouldn't be on this list? Wouldn't the first one ("humanity is overrated") be too philosophical as well?

Oh, what I had in mind is a little ambitious, but we are Slytherin, are we not? I was looking at the list and I just didn’t like how most of the points are worded. And yes, “humanity is overrated” should be completely taken out. See, I really like the way the Malfoy Code of Conduct is written, but how we are going to reword our own points… well, that will take some thinking.

You want to reword everything? That'll take a lot of time. How about we just sort through some of them that we don't think really belongs in a code of conduct first?
Here, I looked through the front list again and I think maybe these can be taken off. (And just to make this clear, please don't be offended if we remove a quote of yours from the list. It's still good, just not relating to conduct.) Let me know if you disagree or think others should be taken off too.
Humanity is overrated Slytherins never lose. Ever. Hero is not a compliment. Sneaky bastard is. The end justifies the means. No fight is a dirty fight - unless it's a mudwrestling match. Slytherins are sexy. If you love it, let it go ... if it doesn't return to you, hunt it down and kill it. When someone pats you on the back, always check for a knife. Good and evil is a relative concept. Blood is thicker than water, but that doesn't mean blood can't be diluted. Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there. The truth is a terrible and dangerous thing, and should be avoided if at all possible. Don't underestimate the benefits of Muggle technology - there's no magical substitute for a rocket launcher. Winning isn't everything. Winning with style is Slytherins will always be sexier, it's a gene thing When it comes to Slytherin, its not bragging if you can back it up Charm is a way of getting the answer "yes" without asking a clear question

-nods- I agree with all the ones you picked out.
Oh well, I didn't expect it do be all done in one day. It could be an extended project... work on bits and pieces of it. I mentioned before that I would like to categorize them too... but I don't know if we have enough points for that yet. We'll see.

Probably not. Like, we don't have rules concerning noble birth.
Should I take out the ones listed above from the first post, then?

Yes, please, go ahead.
...It would have been cool though.

Can do. And we still have time to think of more. The TD code probably shouldn't have anything in there about noble birth, but we're a creative bunch. We can think up a few more categories, at least.

Noble birth? pfft. -tosses category out the window-
We can have a… dress code section. Dinning etiquette… Things to say/do while around “important people” … Maybe even “suck up” tips… How to act in the general public – alone and while fellow Slytherins. Personal hygiene… So on and so forth…
;D

Hehe, okay, I see you really want to work on this, so I'll play along. ;D
I'm currently reorganizing everything, and once we're done, I'll put up the finished product. Just a few questions, and it would be great if anyone (Slytherin or not) could drop by and give their input.
What's our stance on revenge within the House? Does it not exist, should we not hold grudges, etc? Think about it and let me know.
What's our dress code, exactly?! hehe

First, thanks for doing this, Silver.
Now then I believe all grudges should be taken up to the Head of Houses and settled in a court-like fashion. ((Well, I like the idea.)) Fights between Slytherins are not very good for the house, are they? Of course.
…Going along these terms, I expect that no harm shall be brought upon fellow Slytherins.
But naturally, I know that I won’t have to deal with any of this sort of thing… right?
-raises eyebrow at all her house members-
As for the dress code – well, that’s simple. During school hours I expect all Slytherin students to wear their nicely pressed Slytherin school uniforms. We have an image to uphold. I’d rather not see my house mates in rags unless it is for means of deception. Shirts should be tucked in, ties kept in place and skirts at KNEE level… -smirk- Don’t worry… seduction is still possible with conservative apparel.

Wow, that's really nice, Silver! Now to come up with more points... Excuse me as I sit in my dark corner and ponder over these things.
edit: I can't type today.

Hehe, okay. You do that. I couldn't think of anything else to include, especially for that In-House behavior category. I'm not even sure if the category names are that great, but whatever. As long as I didn't spell Slytherin wrong or something.
