Oh, I also forgot to add that I got a silver pinkie ring in New York City... I like it.
Argh! I hate buying school books because the stupid bookstore here always rips people off. I'm really picky and I like books that other people haven't written/highlighted in, and those are always more expensive. With most books you can usually pick them up cheaper online somewhere if you can find them...

With most books you can usually pick them up cheaper online somewhere if you can find them... I know what you mean. I raved about it for an eternity on LJ. I bought this book second hand and I didn't notice many of the most important poems were highlighted and with notes written in biro.
Books are usually cheaper offline if you live in the US/UK and the shop is in the US/UK. I ordered 2 books from Amazon.com once, and the shipping cost me as much as the amount due for the books. Plus it often takes like 2 weeks for them to arrive.*hates the post*
Last thing I bought was a French grammer exercise book and two refill pads with the spindly ring at the side.

This may not sound important, but it was important to me. I just bought myself a large bar of dark chocolate and ate it all. My friends did the same thing. Why you ask? Because we are DONE with finals!!! Oh, I feel SO good! We sat on a hill in the park, munched on chocolate and talked about life. It was great.
;D

Congrats Will! Yes, I think that's a very chocolate-worthy moment.
Hmmm. Last thing I bought was well, it was like $1 for skate hire at free-skating night at the ice arena on campus because the group I'm with booked out the rink and it was really fun. And I didn't even fall down...

Bookstores are the epitome of evil when it comes to textbooks. Selling your books back to the store isn't very profitable either and then they go and re-sell your textbook at a higher price than you were paid. Ugh.
Well I've been good and haven't spent much. I bought myself a pair of sandals and a smoothie on Friday.... I also bought a pizza. I haven't done any spending since. ;D

Alex nad I had our anniversary on the weekend so we went out shopping for the day. I bought myself a corset because I've always wanted one.
It's this style and colour, but without the lace trim around the bottom.
I was actually really surprised at how comfortable they can be, so long as they aren't laced up too tight. I just lace mine up firmly and it means I don't have to wear a bra which is oh so comfortable.

There's an awesome place here in Sydney, Australia that makes them by hand. They're called Gallery Serpentine and will do international orders from their site. They're really good and have all sorts of different fabrics and styles, as well as other kinds of clothing. They are a little pricey but it's worth it because it's all handmade and done properly.
You'll have to let me know if you order anything from them.

I want a corset so badly, but I don't have the best body for it, seeing is i'm holding onto a little t oo much weight that I should be. Hopefully once I slim down, I'll be able to buy one of those amazing corsets.
Once I get my new job, I'll be doing a little "Christmas" shopping for the family. Due to the fact we were short on funds, we didn't really get to have a Christmas this year... so we're having a late one. I know what I'm getting for everyone!

Last thing I bought was a drink from the juice machine thingy because I had to talk for 3 hours straight for my discussion sections and was parched. And then I needed to go to the bathroom really bad and I couldn't because I had my classes.

The last thing I bought for myself was a copy of 10 Things I Hate About You. I've watched it three times in the last three days... Is that healthy? In my defense first I watched it alone, then with my friends and today with my sister.....
I bought myself a smoothies yesterday. I had trouble staying awake... as a direst result of putting off my reading because I was watching Heath Ledger...

The last thing I bought myself was a new computer monitor because my old one blew up earlier this week. It was something like 7 years old and had been randomly turning purple for a few weeks leading up, so I was kind of expecting it. But now I have a shiny new monitor, a 19" LCD one. I love it.
I also did grocery shopping yesterday, though I don't know if that counts.

Grocery shopping counts Nie! I think that was the last thing I bought too, not including the drinks I had the other night. My friend Sim and I went to the store and bought like, $100 worth of groceries, only we had a truck (like, a ute) and obviously we had to put all the groceries in the truck bed and hope they wouldn't fly away... It was a really traumatic trip home as well because then it started to snow on our shopping!!
