Oh, fish fingers. I love how you can get those little boxes with 6 in them or something because that was like, one serving. Crap. Now I want fish fingers.
Actually, if anyone has had cheese curds before, I am totally in love with those too. They're like little balls/cubes of cheese that are crumbed and deep fried. SOOOO bad for you, but sooo good.
Sucks about the banana prices still, Nie. They have been bad for so long. I wish I could send you some bananas from here.

I LOVE mangos. I like tropical fruits period. They're the elixir of life. I don't know how much AU$12 is in US dollars, but it sounds like a lot. That's crazy. I don't think there's a banana shortage in the world...
So I finally had the crape I've been yearning for last week. It was okay, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. I think next time I'll take the matter into my own hands and make my own.
I want a good banana nut muffin or apple cinnamon muffin. Claim Jumper has the best muffins in the world.

Normally this time of year bananas are between $2 and $4 a kilo. There was a really, really bad cyclone here in Australia earlier this year and it took out most of the banana farms and crops. The farmers are now having to sell what they were able to harvest at much, much higher rates than usual so they can make some sort of profit, or at the very least break even. It really sucks. I had my fish fingers and they were really, really good. I'm going to get myself a mango tomorrow for lunch. It will be oh so tasty! ;D

Blah, I'm allergic to mangoes. And pineapples. And strawberries, kiwis and passionfruit, and all citrus fruit and all stone fruit... I suck.
I think bananas here are like 98c or $1-something for a pound. I like banana and chocolate spread and peanut butter in a sandwich. So tasty. I want one now, but all I have is spaghetti.

Wow, all those allergies make for a lot of smoothie combinations you can't have.
I wanted to bake some muffins but we're out of eggs and I'm too lazy to run to the store and buy just eggs.
I've never had cheese curd, but they sound interesting...or maybe I have. They sound like an appetizer of sorts..

Yeah, cheese curds are like the baby bite size version of mozarella sticks, and without the dipping sauce. SOOOO TASTY.
I got fish fingers at the store the other day, and I had it with chips and mozarella sticks for dinner, so basically all I ate for dinner was things in stick form.
I want a good dessert roulade, because Travis and I just saw one on TV, but that would either require cooking or going to the store, neither of which I think we want to do.

i had a strawberry smoothie this past weekend mmmm. heaven in a thick, yummy, fruity styrofoam cup right now i'd like an orange. and i never eat oranges, 'cause i'm just too lazy to peel them same with apples - i won't eat them unless they're sliced, or someone has broken the skin already. i can't stand apple-skin, or biting straight into an apple. yeah, i'm weird

I'm allergic to oranges.
Zack and I made a huge pot of cheese and potato soup for our roommates yesterday, and it was sooooo awesome and tasty. I love cheese. I love potatoes. That makes me happy.

I went to this great sushi place today... I just love the place... I had dreams about it when I was far away from it... I even kinda wished we'd go back to school JUST FOR THE SUSHI. Also, about a block away from university there is this place that makes ice cream out of a mexican thing that's sort of like a twinkie. It even has bread on it! Some people think it look gross, but once they try it, they agree with me it totally rocks! It's amazing... yeah, I'm craving one of those right now. Wish I lived near school.

Churros. I'm so hankering for churros right now. [The closest thing I have is bread and cinnamon sugar. Not close enough though.

Churros rock my socks. I love them. I went into Rubio's over winter break and just bought a churro. The people there thought it was funny. I remember my mom tried to make churros at home once. They weren't too great, but I appreciated nonetheless.
I'm craving shrimp. I had some really good shrimp at Olive Garden three weeks ago. It's too bad the nearest Olive Garden here is over an hour away.
My friend tried to make flan last week. It's very sweet, I can't bring myself to eat it.
Update: I went to Costco with my housemates and we all got churros. They were great. And I spoiled my dinner appetite by going around and eating all the samples.

So I'm not hungry per se but yesterday I ate my first brownie ever. And OMG it was truly DIVINE. It was like one of those I've-never-tasted-anything-better-in-my-life moments. I mean I'm usually not the kind of person who likes cakes etc but that thing is just a gift from heaven I swear. Teehee yes I'm in love with them. ;D
So now I must plot a way to go there again soon.

So I'm not actually craving for anything at the moment but I was wondering since I know there are some vegetarians here on TD whether you could suggest some meals one could try out? We have a vegetarian coming over and my mom's freaking out because she can't put in any meat in anything and we're not really big fans of vegetables as a family really. Ideas anyone?

I just LOVE Oatmeal! I eat it at least 8 times each day. At every meal, and then as supplements between meals. I also have a BIG bowl before going to bed. It is the most wonderful food in the whole world!
I want everybody to eat lots and lots of OATMEAL! It is the most perfect food! It provides fantastic nutrition and has tons of fiber! It is such a complete food you really don't need to eat anything else!
Some people in my household have been complaining about the sound and smell of farts, but I think that is from someone eating broccoli. We have also been going through the TP like crazy, but I'm not sure why. Also, all our clothing seems to have a deposit of gray slime, even after using strong detergent. Does anybody know where that could be coming from? Also, our dishwasher stopped working due to some odd substance clogging the drain.
I just want EVERYONE to start enjoying Oatmeal! I will be checking back to ensure that all of you are!

Oh boy! I just had my second helping of Oatmeal for today! I just feel GREAT!
I don't understand why nobody else has written anything about the magic of Oatmeal yet. I informed the group about 24 hours ago, and I expected EVERYONE to have eaten several big bowls by now. What's the problem?
I have found a new item that all of you will be thrilled to hear about. If you take a coffee cup of boiling water and add 1 tablespoon of Tobasco sauce you have the perfect cure for anything that ails you! Have a cold? The flu? Aching joints? Feeling run down? No problem! Just mix up a heaping tablespoon of Tobasco sause into a cup of boiling water and drink it right down! In minutes you will be feeling GREAT! I do that every day, and I have not been sick for a long time. As you can see, all you need to purchase at the grocery is Oatmeal and Tobasco sauce!
