Pictures?
I'm interested in the fact that a lot of people recently seem to be getting star tattoos. I want one too, but I just never got around to drawing it up or anything, but I'm curious. What made you pick a star design for a tattoo over anything else?

i just really like stars. they never go out of style. they can be as simple or as intricate as you want. mines a sort of shooting star. it's not my original design but i like it.

Oooh, that IS pretty. That's a nautical star, right? What are the colors on it? (Since it's a B/W picture, I can't tell.)
I'm kind of thinking about a shooting star-type design as well for my next tattoo, but I'm tossing up between that and something like a cartoony star like the one from Super Mario Bros., you know the ones that make you invincible. I think that'd be kind of fitting, hahaha.

Yeah it's a nautical star. and it's black and white. i like simple things. that i was afraid colour would fade.

Pictures would be awesome. My friend Leah got a tattoo a few days ago, and she had a star design as well, but it was like a set of different sized five pointed stars climbing up her ribcage.

I got a new piercing for the first time in over 3 years yesterday. I got a surface piercing at the nape of my neck so a now have these two little tiny flat discs of metal about an inch apart on the back of my neck. When I can get Alex to take a picture of it I'll post it. I want to see what it looks like too.

They only piercing I have are my ears, though they consistently close up so I ended up repiercing them myself when ever I feel like wearing earrings. But never thought about getting a tattoo …though I wonder if they do tattoos in invisible ink lol so it would only show up under a black light. But I guess that would defeat the purpose of getting one, but it still would be pretty funny.

They do actually... If you're thinking of getting one just make sure you do your research. There are a couple of safe brands of UV reactant ink have been approved as safe for a long time now, originally deemed safe for use in animals to help track migration patterns etc. There are also a lot of very, very bad UV reactant inks out there. Many of them are toxic and shouldn't be applied to skin normally never mind used for tattooing. As I said, do your research and ask lots of questions. Don't get a tattoo unless you're 100% comfortable with the venue and people who will be marking you for life.
