Yeah, I've had those. My friend JG brought a whole heap of american candy back for me about 3 years ago and I totally loved those! I also really like crunch bars, but we get those here anyway. In the meantime Rue ships me lots of american candy like those wonka thingies and strawberry buds and stuff and moira sends me juice in a can. That's the weirdest thing, how you have juice in a can!!

We're not behind! WE have things like vegemite and about 50 differnet kinds of beer and beef and guinness pie! And yes we have pepsi and mountain dew and stuff as well. Our juice comes in bottles or cartons though. Or freshly squeezed. I just thought it was bizarre the first time I had juice in a can when moira sent it to me and I read the instructions and it's like juice but you put water in it and stuff!
Um, the wonka things I got were the gobstoppers. We have nerds here, and runts, and those weird candy ropes with the nerds stuck to them.

Well if Ko is supposed to be behind, where do I live, in prehistory? We don't get juice in cans either, or Willy Wonka stuff, and I've never had s'mores. So yup! But s'mores really do sound delicious! Especially right now, when I'm feeling hungry and thinking that I can't eat such stuff.
You know with all the amount of stuff you guys mention that I have never seen, when I come to America, I'm gonna empty all the shops' shelves.
What is guinness pie exactly Ko?

It's beef and guiness pie. You know like meat pies? Well a beef and guiness pie is a type of meat pie but the gravy in the pie has guiness beer in it. I've had a little bit of pie pastry and gravy (since I don't like beef) and it's pretty nice.
Hehe, Malta = prehistory : Australia = the middle ages

Nah, Australia and Malta isn't behind at all! America is just king of coming up with the most fattening and unhealthy stuff you could eat, in my opinion. Not that we're ahead of anyone, we just stock up on sweets.
Now I know what a meat pie is. I just got done reading a book where they mentioned meat pies, and although I got the general idea, it's not something I heard of until I picked up the book.
lol, I never thought of smores as a culinary art before. I'm imagining one of those cook shows where chefs around the world compete with the types of dishes they serve and how they prepare them and stuff, and their food of competing choice is "smores, the culinary extravaganza of the year!" ;D

No, an Aussie meat pie is not like a quiche! I love quiche as well, don't get me wrong, but a meat pie is like a little pastry thing with meat and gravy in it. And there's like a piece of pastry over the top of it. I'll pull up a picture for you:
That's sort of what it looks like. There's like mincemeat, gravy and sometimes vegetables inside it and you eat it with tomato sauce (especially at the football!)
Haha! Smores are indeed a culinary product! Well, for me anything requiring more than one step of cooking is culinary! Speaking of, do you have this Japanese TV show called "Iron Chef"? It's like two chefs having a cook-off and they have a challenge ingredient which they have to incorporate in all their meals and then they get judged by a panel!

Yeah I've seen that show!! It's funny, kinda. The people there make me feel bad about my cooking though.
Smores... I've only had them in Quaker S'more granola bars... I dunno if they're the same kind of smores, but I like them.
And for the record, the only juice-in-a-can we have here is juice that comes like in soda cans, but you don't have to add powder or anything. Oh, and it's a mexican brand too, Jumex. They call themselves, in ads and stuff, "the most famous can in Mexico" and they make crappy commercials which make me laugh 'cause at the end they say somehting like "for the most famous can in mexico, any kind of publicity is good.... blah blah... Jumex." Good times, good times.
Oh, and nerds= good. But not as good as nerds rope.

I got hit with a nerds rope once. Nerds flew everywhere.
Oh! Those quaker smore bars! I've had those before as well I think, but a long time ago. I remembered they had a weird texture, but I think I liked them too.
I like making my own juice in a blender with lots of fresh fruit

I sometimes watch a British show similar to that, although they have a time-limit and everything.
I was watching this commercial last time, and they were doing demonstrations of a blender, and the guy put in different kinds of fruit, and put in ice with the lot, and when it's done, it's very similar to a very mixed up smoothie. My mum has tried it a couple of times. She likes it, though I don't think I'd like all that mixed up stuff.
And my aunt tried this weird juice from water melons. It didn't come out too well though, or maybe it was because it lacked the sugar.
